This new location is twice the size of Team Liquid’s existing facilities in Los Angeles and Utrecht.
Imagine a skyscraper dedicated entirely to gaming, twice as big as their current bases.
Team Liquid and Alienware have officially launched a major esports training facility in São Paulo, Brazil. This development underscores a significant financial investment by the organization to bolster its presence in the South American market. The facility serves as a comprehensive hub for professional athletes and staff, integrating living quarters, performance training, and content production capabilities into a single, multi-story location.
Spanning 3,092 square meters across 13 floors, the site is twice the size of Team Liquid’s existing facilities in Los Angeles and Utrecht. The infrastructure is designed to support over 80 employees and athletes, featuring 19 residential suites, a performance laboratory, a gym, and a pilates studio. Additionally, the building includes dedicated administrative offices, conference rooms, and professional-grade production studios. A key feature of the site is its focus on high-performance training, utilizing Alienware Aurora R15 desktop PCs throughout its scrim rooms, review areas, and soundproofed streaming pods.
Construction of the facility was completed in six months, following a design phase that began in January 2022. While the exact capital expenditure remains undisclosed, the project is described as a multi-million dollar investment. Beyond its utility as a training ground, the facility functions as a public-facing asset, housing Team Liquid’s first physical retail store on the ground floor and providing space for fan activations. This expansion highlights a strategic commitment to fostering local talent and engaging the broader Brazilian esports community through a centralized, state-of-the-art headquarters.
