Skyesports has announced the lineup for the European Qualifier of the Skyesports Masters, an international Counter-Strike 2 competition. The qualifier, scheduled for March 19–24, 2024, will feature 12 teams competing in a single-elimination bracket to determine which participants will advance to the main event. The participating teams include Guild Eagles, Fnatic, BetBoom Team, FORZE Esports, B8, Preasy Esport, Natus Vincere Junior, Pera Esports, 3DMAX, Sprout, TSM, and GUN5.
The main event is slated to take place in India from April 8–14, 2024, and boasts a total prize pool of $350,000 USD. In addition to the winners of the European Qualifier and the India Qualifier, the tournament will feature six invited teams. Confirmed invites include Team Liquid, ENCE, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and BIG.
This tournament represents a significant component of the organizer's 2024 strategic roadmap for Counter-Strike 2. The broader initiative encompasses six distinct events throughout the year, supported by a total prize pool of $1 million USD. By hosting these international qualifiers and the subsequent main event in India, the organization continues to expand its footprint in the global competitive gaming landscape.
