This multi-year partnership with ADIO Holdings Restricted Limited provides capital over a four-year period. The funding is contingent on NIP Group achieving specific performance milestones.
Ninjas in Pyjamas Group (NIP Group) has entered into a multi-year partnership with ADIO Holdings Restricted Limited, an entity established by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office. This agreement provides NIP Group with up to $40 million in funding over a four-year period, contingent upon the organization achieving specific quantitative and qualitative performance milestones. The capital injection is intended to support the company’s expansion into the Middle East and facilitate the establishment of a new global headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The partnership serves as a strategic move for both parties, with NIP Group leveraging the funding to scale operations across several verticals, including esports, game publishing, event production, talent management, and creative studio services. Beyond financial support, NIP Group will act as a strategic advisor to the Abu Dhabi government, assisting in the development of a regional gaming and esports ecosystem through community and professional initiatives.
This development follows NIP Group’s first-half 2024 financial reporting, which showed $39.3 million in net revenue against a net loss of $4.7 million. Despite the loss, the organization demonstrated a 49% reduction in operating expenses compared to the previous year. By relocating its global headquarters to the United Arab Emirates, NIP Group aims to integrate its existing international presence—which includes offices in Sweden, China, and Brazil—with new local resources in the Middle East, further solidifying Abu Dhabi’s position as a growing hub for digital entertainment and competitive gaming.
