Misfits Gaming Group has entered into a partnership with ergonomic seating brand Anthros for its Call of Duty League (CDL) franchise, the Miami Heretics. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the deal integrates Anthros products directly into the team’s professional environment. The partnership includes branding visibility across the team’s social media channels, official jerseys, and promotional content.
A primary component of the collaboration involves the use of Anthros gaming chairs during the upcoming CDL Major 3, which is scheduled to take place from April 24 to 27, 2025, at the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena in Boca Raton, Florida. The event is hosted by the Miami Heretics and supported by various other commercial partners, including SCUF Gaming, Hooters, and the Palm Beach County Sports Commission.
This partnership reflects the ongoing operational structure of the Miami Heretics, which functions through a 2023 agreement between Misfits Gaming Group and the Spanish organization Team Heretics. Under this arrangement, Team Heretics holds an equity stake and manages content and marketing, while Misfits Gaming Group retains responsibility for daily operations and commercialization. Anthros joins a diverse portfolio of existing team sponsors, including Logitech G, Hyundai, and Republic of Gamers, further expanding the commercial reach of the Miami-based franchise within the competitive gaming sector.
