Kick Partners With ESL FACEIT Group for DreamHack

The ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) has entered into a strategic partnership with the live streaming platform Kick to facilitate in-person activations for the DreamHack creator community throughout 2024. The collaboration aims to foster deeper connections between the platform and its user base by moving beyond digital interactions to provide on-site experiences. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership represents a significant effort by Kick to increase its physical presence within the competitive gaming ecosystem.

The activations are scheduled to take place at four major international DreamHack events in 2024, spanning Melbourne, Australia; Dallas, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; and Stockholm, Sweden. Beginning in late April and concluding in late November, these events will feature a selection of Kick’s content creators participating in various on-site activities, including panel discussions, meet-and-greets, and dedicated booth activations.

This partnership highlights the ongoing expansion of EFG, a subsidiary of the Saudi-backed Savvy Games Group, which oversees both the ESL tournament organizer and the FACEIT platform. For Kick, which was founded in 2022 and is financially supported by the co-founders of the gambling site Stake.com, the collaboration serves as a strategic move to solidify its brand identity and community engagement within the global esports landscape. By integrating its creators into established festival environments, the platform seeks to cultivate a more robust environment for its growing community of content creators.
