GRID Signs Multi-Year Deal With Ubisoft for Rainbow Six Esports

GRID, a Berlin-based gaming and esports data platform, has entered into a multi-year partnership with Ubisoft to serve as the exclusive provider of live esports data for the Rainbow Six Siege competitive ecosystem. This collaboration aims to enhance the data infrastructure surrounding the BLAST R6 circuit, including major global and regional tournaments such as the BLAST Majors and the Six Invitational. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership represents a significant integration of professional data services into the publisher's official tournament structure.

The collaboration focuses on the development of specialized infrastructure and APIs designed to extract granular, real-time, in-game statistics directly from game servers. These data assets, covering pro player performance, team metrics, and specific match outcomes, will be distributed exclusively through the GRID Data Platform. The initiative officially commenced during the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta, which featured a $750,000 prize pool and served as a qualifying event for the 2024 Six Invitational in São Paulo.

By centralizing the distribution of official data, the partnership seeks to standardize the quality and availability of statistics across the Rainbow Six esports landscape. This move aligns with broader industry trends toward professionalizing data management to support deeper fan engagement and analytical depth in competitive gaming. The agreement underscores a strategic commitment by both organizations to leverage high-fidelity, real-time data to support the ongoing growth and professionalization of the Rainbow Six Siege esports scene.
