Create free account[Music] okay let's unravel this mess that is the Google stadia launch or study of the stadium now whatever it is it's not here to stay Google is known to kind of launch products as fast as they close and meaning that any apps used from them in the last few years most likely don't exist anymore stadia is no different though they have a lot of people in their camp now and Bill Harrison who signed up in everybody's can starting with Sony Xbox how can you trust this guy but anyways he's over that stevia camp trying to get them to kind of stay on board I don't know what's the the problem so let's let's at least go over the facts right so they just recently launched about a week ago and most of the futures aren't there and what's worse is that been a really low quality output so at launch players don't have access to an achievement system nor will it have status or family sharing parents will be
able to manage children's experience ostia where rena controls through family link but can't share the games what's worse is that they promised a slew of games at launch what had to kind of backtrack so initially they wanted ten games at launch but as our the outrage they were able to pump that to 21 shirt Rachel what's also terrible is that there's a lot of people that pre-ordered their stadia but other who ordered it afterwards got their devices before those pre-war this is just clearly showing that Google just doesn't know how to launch products successfully and it's really really becoming a laughingstock when they are having new technology like how can you soar up any that constantly just shuts down services so what their plan of stadia being a slow rollout such as how they do updates from Google search YouTube and other services that's it that's I mean those are the mega lists and those are huge megaliths let's not ignore the bad Google offers to the world but those are just one a million apps that actually took off
and became a thing so they have a lot more misses than success and it's really not looking good for staney there's a lot of optimism out there thinking that stadia will kind of right these wrongs and kind of get over these humps there are a few console launches before that didn't I get there talking previously how Xbox one at a rough start layer always connecting to the internet watch announcement and among other things having the Kinect remember that thing being a part of that console that really up the price when PS we're all the news of you was just offered a console $100 less and clearly they came out the winner but Xbox kind of got themselves upright again and I mean they turned out okay not so bad behind the customers but definitely they want to fix that with their next device besides the phone stadia is just really facing a lot of problems right now especially the quality that being promised where everything will run in 4k at 60 frames per sec people aren't writing about how that's not the case I mean just simple things that you feel would destroy the
buzz already has had with stay not a lot of people are talking about it have this awful trailer that you've been watching month right now that's trying to kind of appeal to the young hipsters will get boxes forget consoles just your games your screens and electric and have this electric air Steve Jobs but even then the commercial that kind of runs through the features of stadia just feels like an algorithm that Google kind of just put together to say hey what's one hits you kind of showcase this new console that we're trying to do it just really shows how to touch the yard and how not serious they are about a console this because this feels such a fate why even watch this early if it wasn't wide launch a half a console to kind of ruin the blood people are not gonna give you a second chance unless you earn it nice so why even go for second chance why knowingly go out the front door just being ok with people watching me stumble I don't understand who whose stance with us and how anybody that is coming from the game business
working over at Google isn't working more closely about how to properly launch a new market but this is just not looking then this again is just showing how Google is eventually gonna shut the doors on this it doesn't seem like anything positive that can come from this and people ready moving on or Sonia Meyer saw for being smart about showing like hey we really are doing this with our console yes you do have to buy the console header price tag but you'll be able to kind of have this secondary option of streaming to your home through Wi-Fi connection that is reliable does you have your hardware at home that no one else is kind of digging into so if anything stay here or show the way of interest for a little bit into wanting to stream their games with Sony and Microsoft telling stated step aside and like hey let's study adults yes and I think in the next couple years it's just gonna be a Microsoft and Sony show with Nintendo kind of doing their own thing I think is an odd thing if you guys disagree or agree let me know what you think in the comments section Lou I really want to understand you guys want to get this have this Google Stadium or
planning to get us you know you [Music]
The launch of Google Stadia represents a significant failure in product execution, characterized by a lack of essential features, logistical mismanagement, and a disconnect from the gaming market. Despite high-level leadership from industry veterans, the platform debuted with missing core functionality, including an achievement system, status tracking, and family game sharing. Furthermore, the service failed to meet its performance benchmarks, specifically the promise of consistent 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. These technical shortcomings, combined with a disorganized pre-order fulfillment process that prioritized late buyers over early adopters, have severely undermined consumer confidence.
The platform’s market entry was further hampered by a confusing marketing strategy that failed to resonate with the core gaming audience. While Google attempted to leverage its experience with massive software rollouts like YouTube and Google Search, the transition to hardware-dependent gaming services proved incompatible with its typical iterative development model. The decision to launch a product in an incomplete state created a negative perception that is difficult to reverse, especially when compared to the established, reliable hardware ecosystems offered by competitors like Sony and Microsoft.
Ultimately, the outlook for Stadia remains pessimistic, with the industry shifting toward a model where streaming serves as a secondary feature rather than a standalone replacement for dedicated consoles. While competitors are successfully integrating cloud streaming into existing, robust hardware infrastructures, Google’s inability to provide a seamless, feature-complete experience suggests a high probability of service discontinuation. The current trajectory indicates that the gaming market will continue to be dominated by traditional console manufacturers, leaving little room for a platform that struggles to demonstrate long-term viability or a clear understanding of its user base.
