FTUE: Transformers Earth Wars

head games we've this is the third game all blitz games previously have been in the strategy genre against in the strategy genre so we know the space that guy's quite well so we kind of interested to see what they do with transformers the first two games were one was like a samurai based game samurai siege so samurai themed quite a cut not quite cartoony but bourbon that kind of level of kind of them graphical theme second one rival kingdoms much more kind of gritty fantasy both in saying that in the kind of build rebuilding base building battle kind of genre so we choose our factions of this whole thing of a's about transformers that's the whole give it the whole focus of the whole game is transformers are cool let's choose the Autobots okay Hughton her harmony that's just that's me all over so um so you know having a bit of weight for there we go so who's he base base building so here's Melanie melody even though she's freaking out here okay so interesting they've gone with lots of games not have this kind of

all cartoon things it's hard to animate not she's gonna keep looking ahead of the rest of the game so I'm jetfire she's assisting Lee good okay there it's establish our defenses so typical thing we do we build a cannon so there's our cannon move it around there so looking at this it looks a bit like Michael kingdoms in the way the walls are set up and such like there's our cannon done so the guys that upgrade tells us today I'm Jeff I just in time Decepticons are coming oh nasty Decepticons so obviously the rival side so I guess there's gonna be it will be kind of alliances in here but there's at what the obviously the bigger picture is kind of across the world is your red or blue or in this case yeah robots on the Decepticons ok so the lil bit of coming to is this chap and walk up to our cannon and get toasted you know he goes

you so they'll go big for you to us starscream is screaming now 30 years he's very happy you creep year need reinforcements but our space bridge won't work without crystal selves need a crystal she's good too at crystal get a crystal so here's a crystal so we're looking going into kind of menus here we see most a lot of a lot it's kind of a officer going through the tutorial so it's kind of opening stuff up in a controlled manner so here's a warrior crystal so the game is obviously bout unlocking transformers and leveling them up so the way we do that it looks like this with crystals so we're using a currency here let me see the top of the screen is very kind of resort there's a resource that's like I and there's a soft currency which is like this one then probably a hard currency so I'm going to use some cyber coins use my crystal now okay so here we go this is a space bridge I need to tap on it to bring my Autobots to earth that's kind of nice little holistic thing the

platform with University go I've got a the rears van van man oh I in Hyde okay so there we go so got to to these guys now interesting it's using crystals so obviously these kind of games in a sense are under pinion Ares is card battling mechanics so you're collecting characters you're getting upgrading characters presumably with kind of not quite cards but but you're kind of getting resources you can operate the characters with ya so the kind of innocence been using these crystals looks like two million optional played it in a depth yet but looks like they're kind of hiding with that needs a card system underneath so they actually the game that really um has done this very well and be very successful is his commands Marvel a contest of Champions which does it in a very sexily is a card battler game with Vemma got a gameplay mechanic but the users crystals to kind of them is the base form of kind of leveling up unlocking characters there

when you get crystals that are the same as catches you already got you can convert them into resources so made it learn more about scumming Harvester so now we're going into two utilities are going into resource type stuff so as ever in these games that are kind of currency no resources rather than currencies I can skip the time less than five minutes for free so I point having them because it's telling us we're skipping them for free that makes it feel happy so we can produce and a gone and whatever it's called okay there's no storage going to go to storage unit and so this is all well known anyone who's played kind of clash of clans or suchlike skip that okay i'm a top storage is now available link sees come awesome so ma'am you can see I'm level one but I'm desk i'm starting to level up that's from nice how it's going to sharing around the outside my level so we can produce that and alloys that's two resources so that's em up there's a

nice little thing gather these resources storage resources spend them use them ok Topsy transformers I guess as a brand could go quite wide in terms of mass marketing go quite young and quite also the tutorial happily has to be a bit more hand-holding than me if we were just aiming at a more cordons I get to get off most prime to earth ok let's bust interceptor chops ok open the battle menu okay so this is the battle leave it scanning right Natalia we see what resources are available in the bottom right and they're building a base okay let's make them pay for taking us and steal their resources tap pion hide tap did point out okay keep your words in funding team of damage now i see so I'm highly off he goes warriors like I'm I can rush to his enemy attack

test okay so you can see here there's a takes three lectures of t-bolts to unlock his power I've got four lucky there's then so I tap on that and tap on the camera to target it oh if he goes into a truck fashionable that's cool isn't so this is kind of thing you want with you know the transformer games now jetfire he's not a warrior he's ahead Bob Hummer was ok so to tap him and he comes he's kind of felt point of this game is that you know you want this big menacing transformer thing so it's interesting so with this jetfire guy I'm up I can't tell int it no i can actually ask what i want to do that maybe it's listening to movie so can I pital Bella it looks like that kind of yeah they're just kind of doing their own stuff I'm not really directing them ok so I can unleash a powerful air strike so he's gonna tend to play my guess that's his special thing here he goes you find the sales boom boom boom that's quite nice isn't it there you go blew that out ok we win so let's upgrade our we can be

played on too I suppose get the resources again but very quickly those kind of resources not very valuable could you some time to replay levels let's suppose you don't five star okay they leveled up that's good what you want in a tutorial to feel like everything's going well awesome job yet so I'm going to upgrade mine HQ skip it for free time I've unlocked level new levels and all these other buildings I've got so we can see here no excuse direct me to claim reward we've seen as reward system i get to things they're so rewards i'm getting side the coins and exceed and Excel does not worth very much as I'm getting awards and so much million bases either some espresso stockpiles right for the picking stop flicking your hair woman okay so that's here we go so it's going to keep some Decepticon so okay collect circuits most innovative ok so it's tender skin a

little I think so all these arrows as well we can see here kind of saying these can be upgraded so you can upgrade that one because you speed it up you want to you can operate this one level two and how can we do keep that way this one okay now available bill bots are going to do two things at a time I can obviously spend some resources to do it as quickly as possible to basically speed it up everyone do that so two things at once and these kind of guessing so we can see this is our base but these these mor guys are born wandering around saying stupid things can't tell them so we can have a look our team i suppose and get more here want more it's also saying it okay so this is a good crystals so get a free crystal every eight hours and I've broken the game okay I'm so good then press that 102 star crystal get now how

I need to pay for that I kind of get down this outside can I can buy other than buy one of these okay so i can buy a preemie crystal using my side the coins so what's happened to it I've bought it okay that's good odd force it oh here they are so I can use them what we're gonna get I got a boring and on that some blasting of them probably i use that quick or something what's this one oh here we go gotta lose this cliff jumper Neverland okay i'm not i guess it's telling me again like a little what I'm gonna do that so let's go back to my guys and if you're in a show need an upgrade oh my shuttle upgrade it skipper so where are they so these are the 3 i've got now now can i upgrade these also picked up was actually more powerful than you do you see a warrior

than the tonic oh so weaknesses and there's otha tap on the screen does his little thing that's what matters i guess it was all part of the transformers being the stars of the show not if you do like a little video that mm-hmm so i don't really think how do i upgrade him maybe i just operating by using my suppose that seem to be gone for here no it was that was to be nothing so there we go so that is um transformers earth war just the first little snippet the first time user experience looks pretty smoothly boss you've put in some nice little extra tutorial type bits to them to help people through the bill bot

bundles trying to sell me something now for 15 pounds per 20 bucks isn't it spin type of coin so I get some cyber coins I get a bill bot so that was let me do three things at once and I mix boost crystal didn't laid don't know got any think it's got interesting like twenty dollars is not like it's a tiny amount it's not like your five dollar amount am I really sure what the how valuable this is is that as a as a bundle so they don't know what I don't know what the mix boost crystals do yet cyber coins I don't know five thousand is a lot you know any less than a thousand but we're going to get quite a lot and quite quickly so this was nothing that's quite abstract to throw this kind of thing without you know maybe veterans kind of game to go unlock a really cool transformer I talking away so we can see I mean quite busy you I as well I mean nicely laid out but there's quite a lot going on here but menu the team the ranking this is Danny notices I mean I'm not even yet as Alliance is not going to
