This signing allows FaZe Clan to participate in the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Game Changers Series.
In March 2023, FaZe Clan officially entered the competitive Valorant landscape by signing its first all-female professional roster. This strategic move was designed to facilitate the organization's participation in the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Game Changers Series, an initiative established by Riot Games in 2022 to increase representation and professional opportunities for women and marginalized genders within the Valorant ecosystem.
The newly formed roster consists of Jennifer “refinnej” Le, Emma “emy” Choe, Vannesa Emely “panini” Emory, Madison “maddiesuun” Mann, and Diane “di^” Tran. While this marks their debut under the FaZe Clan banner, the players possess a history of collaboration, having previously competed together under the team name Hamboigas during the 2022 VCT Game Changers Series III in North America. Individual members also bring prior experience from other prominent organizations, including Complexity GX3 and Counter Logic Gaming Red.
This development reflects a broader industry trend toward inclusivity, as FaZe Clan joins other major esports organizations—such as G2 Esports, Guild Esports, TSM, and Team Vitality—in launching dedicated all-women rosters for the 2023 season. By integrating this team, FaZe Clan aligns itself with the growing institutional support for gender-diverse competitive circuits, signaling a continued commitment to expanding the professional footprint of women in esports.
