The ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Polish Counter-Strike: Global Offensive organization 9INE. The primary objective of this collaboration is to leverage the FACEIT online platform as a centralized hub for 9INE to foster community engagement and facilitate competitive gaming experiences for its fan base. While the financial details of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership reflects a broader trend of tournament operators integrating professional esports organizations into their digital ecosystems.
Under the terms of the agreement, 9INE will utilize the FACEIT platform to host various events and competitions tailored to its Polish-speaking audience. Participants in these events gain access to a rewards system where they can earn FACEIT points, cash prizes, and team-branded merchandise. Furthermore, the platform enables 9INE to integrate a digital shop directly into the user experience, allowing community members to exchange earned points for digital items. The platform also supports the creation of exclusive, custom content accessible through a built-in subscription model.
This initiative aligns with EFG’s ongoing strategy to deepen ties with professional teams, following a similar partnership established with the Danish organization Astralis earlier in May 2023. By providing these tools, EFG aims to strengthen the connection between professional esports entities and their grassroots communities, enhancing both player retention and brand loyalty within the competitive gaming landscape.
