Skyesports Reveals 2024 Counter-Strike 2 Roadmap

Skyesports has unveiled an expansive 2024 roadmap for Counter-Strike 2, signaling a significant commitment to both domestic and international esports competition. The primary objective of this initiative is to build upon the momentum generated by previous successful LAN events in India by hosting six major global tournaments throughout the year. These competitions are designed to feature a diverse mix of international and Indian teams, fostering a broader competitive ecosystem.

The 2024 schedule includes a series of high-profile events, starting with the Skyesports Grand Slam in March, followed by the franchised Skyesports Masters in May and the Skyesports Championship in July. Later in the year, the organization will host the Skyesports Souvenir in Sri Lanka, the inaugural Skyesports Global Tour in Thailand, and the India vs. Pakistan Series in the United Arab Emirates. Collectively, these six events represent a total prize pool of $1 million USD, reflecting a substantial investment in the professional circuit.

Beyond the professional tier, the roadmap emphasizes the development of the grassroots scene. Skyesports intends to provide both monetary and infrastructural support for collegiate and cafe-level Counter-Strike 2 events within India. By integrating professional global tournaments with local, community-focused initiatives, the organization aims to solidify its influence in the regional esports market while expanding its footprint across Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia.
