Sentinels Partner With BenQ’s ZOWIE

The Los Angeles-based esports organization Sentinels has entered into a strategic partnership with ZOWIE, the gaming and esports peripherals brand owned by BenQ. Announced in January 2024, this collaboration aims to integrate ZOWIE’s hardware into the professional gaming environment of the organization, which currently fields competitive teams in Valorant, Apex Legends, and Halo. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership is designed to leverage Sentinels’ platform to promote ZOWIE’s latest product innovations throughout the 2024 calendar year.

The primary objective of the partnership is to highlight ZOWIE’s high-performance hardware, specifically focusing on the company’s new product line, which includes the DyAc 2 monitor series and a 540Hz display model. Sentinels will facilitate this through content creation that emphasizes the professional preference for ZOWIE equipment, likely incorporating branding across team jerseys, social media channels, and streamer-led content.

This deal reinforces ZOWIE’s established position as an endemic brand within the global esports ecosystem. ZOWIE has a history of extensive involvement in the industry, having previously partnered with major tournament circuits such as the Valorant Champions Tour, the Halo Championship Series, and various events hosted by ESL FACEIT Group, BLAST, and PGL.
