The Los Angeles-based esports organization is broadening its investor base by allowing public participation in its financial growth.
The Los Angeles-based esports organization Sentinels has officially launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on the platform StartEngine. This move follows a successful "test the waters" reservation phase that began in July 2023, signaling the organization's intent to broaden its investor base by allowing public participation in its financial growth.
The campaign aims to sell approximately 4% of the company’s equity, which is currently valued at $30.9 million. Investors can participate with a minimum buy-in of $300, receiving non-voting common stock in return. To incentivize participation, the organization has structured tiered rewards: a $500 investment grants backers an authentic team jersey, while higher contribution levels offer exclusive perks, such as direct access to company management and opportunities for in-person engagement with the organization’s professional teams in Los Angeles.
Sentinels maintains a diverse footprint in the competitive gaming industry, fielding rosters in major titles including Valorant, Apex Legends, and Halo. Beyond its competitive operations, the organization serves as a platform for prominent content creators. As of the campaign's launch, the initiative had secured over $41,000 in funding, reflecting an ongoing effort to leverage community support to bolster the organization's capital structure.
