Rooter Joins the Revenant Esports Invitational Showdown

The Indian gaming and esports streaming platform Rooter has entered into a strategic partnership with Revenant Esports to serve as the official broadcasting partner for the Revenant Esports Invitational Showdown. This collaboration focuses on the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) title, a prominent game within the Indian competitive landscape. While the financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership highlights the ongoing efforts by regional platforms to secure exclusive or co-exclusive content rights for high-profile esports tournaments.

The tournament, scheduled for July 14–16, 2023, features 18 of India’s top professional teams, including Revenant Esports, Team Soul, GodLike Esports, and Entity Gaming. The event structure consists of 15 total matches, with five matches played daily. The competition offers a total prize pool of INR 7 Lakhs, equivalent to approximately $1,215 USD.

The event is designed to reach a broad audience through dual-platform distribution, with live broadcasts available on both Rooter and YouTube. By facilitating this coverage, the partnership aims to bolster the visibility of the BGMI competitive scene and leverage the reach of established streaming infrastructure to engage the Indian gaming community.
