NODWIN Gaming, a prominent gaming and esports festival company, has finalized an equity investment of €8 million ($8.67 million USD) in the Berlin-based marketing agency Freaks 4U Gaming. This transaction grants NODWIN a 13.51% ownership stake in the agency. The total investment comprises a previously established €3.6 million ($3.9 million USD) convertible loan agreement, which has now been converted into equity, alongside a fresh capital injection of €4.4 million ($4.77 million USD) for additional shares.
The partnership is designed to facilitate a strategic exchange of resources and market access between the two entities. Under the terms of the agreement, both companies will exclusively share personnel, equipment, and facility assets within their respective primary regions. Specifically, NODWIN gains access to the established PC gaming ecosystems managed by Freaks 4U in Europe, while Freaks 4U secures entry into NODWIN’s mobile esports and youth-focused networks across India and South Asia.
This investment represents a significant expansion of NODWIN’s corporate portfolio, occurring shortly after the company’s acquisition of Comic Con India. By integrating these diverse assets, the organization aims to strengthen its operational footprint across both Western and emerging Asian markets, leveraging the specialized expertise of Freaks 4U to bolster its global presence in the competitive gaming and entertainment sectors.
