New Meta Entertainment (NME), the parent company of the esports organization Dignitas and the women’s gaming broadcast platform Raidiant, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Ruderman Family Foundation. This collaboration marks the foundation’s inaugural entry into the esports and gaming sector, aligning with its broader mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health across sports, education, and entertainment industries.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Ruderman Family Foundation has been named the official mental health partner for NME. The foundation is providing an undisclosed grant to Dignitas to support the development of inclusive and supportive environments for both esports professionals and gaming fans. The partnership will manifest through various digital activations, including collaborative programming for the Raidiant Challengers Circuit and content featuring prominent Dignitas talent such as Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf and Shaun “AussieAntics” Cochrane.
The partnership was formally introduced to the public at TwitchCon Las Vegas in October 2023. The event featured a panel discussion on mental health in gaming and the establishment of a dedicated event space designed to provide fans and talent with access to mental health resources. By integrating these initiatives into high-profile gaming events and professional circuits, the collaboration aims to foster a more supportive culture within the competitive gaming ecosystem.
