already. It's almost 40% down in the last [music] what is it? 3-4 days this week. And same applies to AppLovin like 33% down.

Breaking news.
Literally breaking.
Hello everyone. Lots of updates this week from Nasdaq gaming stocks dying to many investments and 25 Q4 reports of Meta, MTG group, Stillfront. So, let's kick it off. To start with, Pangle started bidding on traffic coming from the United States. Anyone working in monetization space knows that this something we have been waiting for a while. So, definitely test it out. Let's go for the juicy side. Gaming stocks are just going down and down. I have been
following closely like, [music] you know the reason the Google project Genie triggered a mini meltdown over there because investors do not understand how games are actually made for everyone basically. It's an AI tool that generates 60-second 720p 24 FPS scenes and you know like there is no sounds logic, score, code, even like input lag at it's like just this the markets crashed. Reacted like, "Wow, AI games are here now. Oh, it's the end of the gaming industry." And the stocks like that's the real story. You know, Unity it's almost 40% down [music] in the last what is it? 3-4 days this week. And same applies to AppLovin like 33% down. Roblox 19% down. Take-Two you know, like the famous singer and even like GTA maker, 19%
another. Stillfront Group, we will come to their 25 results actually, 15% down and that's crazy. Okay, like for the Nasdaq index, it's like 4.5% down. Like also there was like markets crash kind of, not that big, but you know, like comparing 4 and 40, it's different, you know. For the data side, uh let's kick it off with Meta, famous one. Actually, I just checked at their report, 3.6 billion people use Meta apps [music] every day and it's like up 7% year over year. Like that's crazy. In terms of money, revenues, total revenue reached more than 200 billion in 25 and just in Q4, it's 60 billion, which is like crazy, you know, comparing the portions. So, yeah, like it's crazy growth. On the company side, I would
like to start with Stillfront [music] Group and the data shows that they cut revenues, but growing the margin. And I think like that's the literally smartest option in this market in terms of gaming group holding like. So, their Q4 revenue dropped 9%, but they expanded their [music] margins. Their gross margin is up 83% actually. But the crazy side is they have a portfolio cleanup. Literally, it just begins. The Narrative Games portfolio [music] was sold for 4 millions and more cuts are actually coming. The goal is simple, they made it pretty clear on the report. So, fewer products, less products and deeper focus on [music] margin. So, that makes sense. On the MTG Group side, I just uh read their report today. MTG hits record revenue and profits. And especially after snapping up Plarium, the you know,
owner of uh InnoGames, Hatch, Ninja Kiwi, and [music] Snowprint, is also planning an IPO for its uh PlaySimple division in India. Like that's big news over there. In terms of the data from MTG side, they actually closed 2025 with all-time high revenues and adjusted EBITDA, delivering 8% organic growth in Q4 and 9% for the full year. So, um sounds cool. For the I would say like more details is around uh user acquisition and maintaining margins, cash generation. Like I I I don't want to bore you with all the details. So, let's move to Embracer Group data. They are actually a bit slower out there in terms of publishing their results. So, we right now just have their Q2 reports, but Q3 will be coming next week. I just checked their website. But for the Q2 [music] data, actually, there is like something interesting caught my eye.
Mobile revenue crashed. Like it's crazy. It's 61% down year over year comparing Q2. Uh so, that's crazy. And now, let's move to the investment scene. Let's start with Sound Games raising 6.5 million. The idea is actually pretty clear. Pay once, play anywhere. Basically, the studio dreams about fully moving away from heavy [music] monetization and you know, instead of like this side, they would like to purely go on the having premium games that replayable and that work across PC, mobile, console with a single purchase. That means no double buying, no [music] fragmented progress. So, you just buy and play anywhere. That that's not really cool, actually. How about another? RS Interactive just closed a massive 70 million Series A round led by
General Catalyst, marking one of the largest early-stage gaming raises in recent years. That's pretty big, actually. So, that's are the main highlights. So, [music] feel free to check these reports and updates by yourself. Here we go.

Distilling the key insights…
The gaming industry is currently experiencing a significant disconnect between market sentiment and operational reality. A recent, disproportionate sell-off in gaming stocks—including Unity, AppLovin, Roblox, and Take-Two—was largely triggered by investor overreaction to Google’s Project Genie. While the market interpreted this demonstration as a sign that AI would imminently replace traditional game development, the technology currently lacks essential gameplay systems, scoring, and logic. This panic caused gaming stocks to plummet by as much as 40% in a week, far outpacing the broader NASDAQ decline of approximately 4.5%.
In contrast, established platforms continue to demonstrate robust growth. Meta reported that its apps now reach 3.6 billion daily active users, a 7% year-over-year increase, with total company revenue exceeding $200 billion. This performance highlights a widening gap between the perceived threat of AI and the actual, relentless monetization of user attention at scale.
Publisher performance reveals a clear divergence in strategy, with capital increasingly favoring efficiency over experimentation. Companies like Stillfront are successfully expanding margins by cleaning up portfolios and divesting from non-core assets, even as top-line revenue dips. Similarly, MTG Group achieved record revenues and profits through disciplined user acquisition and strategic acquisitions like Plarium. Conversely, firms with unfocused portfolios, such as Embracer Group, have faced severe volatility, evidenced by a 61% year-over-year collapse in mobile revenue. Despite the broader market turbulence, investment remains active in specific niches, such as the $70 million Series A round for RS Interactive and the $6.5 million raised by Sound Games to pursue cross-platform premium gaming models. Overall, the industry is shifting toward a focus on operational discipline and sustainable cash generation.
