The ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and mobile game developer Supercell have entered into an expanded partnership, designating the Snapdragon Pro Series Powered by Samsung Galaxy as the official operator of the Brawl Stars Championship for 2024. This collaboration integrates the 3v3 multiplayer battle royale game into the broader Snapdragon Pro Series ecosystem, building upon a previous relationship that saw Brawl Stars featured in the series' inaugural season and as a title at the 2023 DreamHack Japan event.
The 2024 competitive circuit encompasses five global regions: Asia-Pacific; Europe, Middle East, and Africa; North America; South America; and the Chinese Mainland. Competition will span more than 190 countries and territories, utilizing a structure of online monthly qualifiers and finals to determine participants for the Brawl Stars World Finals. The program features a total prize pool of up to $2 million, with Supercell introducing a crowdfunding model for the November World Finals, mirroring established industry practices seen in titles like Dota 2.
This partnership highlights the continued growth of mobile esports within the EFG portfolio. EFG, a subsidiary of the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund-backed Savvy Games Group, manages a diverse array of tournament platforms, production companies, and festival brands. While specific financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, the deal reinforces the commitment of both organizations to scaling mobile competitive gaming through a structured, globalized tournament framework.
