Abios, an esports data and technology provider, will supply match data to Team Vitality.
Abios, an esports data and technology provider, has entered into a long-term partnership with the Paris-based esports organization Team Vitality. The collaboration focuses on enhancing fan engagement by integrating Abios’s match data into Team Vitality’s existing prediction tool. This feature allows fans to forecast the outcomes of professional matches, earn points based on their accuracy, and compete on a leaderboard for prizes, including merchandise and exclusive experiences with players.
The initiative serves as a strategic expansion of Team Vitality’s digital ecosystem, specifically complementing the organization’s V.Hive application, which launched in November 2022. By leveraging real-time data, the organization aims to deepen its connection with its reported community of over 12 million fans across social media platforms. Team Vitality maintains a competitive presence across several major titles, including League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Rocket League, EA Sports FC 24, and Starcraft II.
While the financial terms and the specific duration of the agreement remain undisclosed, the partnership aligns with Team Vitality’s broader commercial strategy, joining a diverse portfolio of sponsors that includes brands such as Tezos, hummel, and various consumer goods companies. This move highlights the growing trend of esports organizations utilizing data-driven tools to gamify the spectator experience and increase long-term fan retention.
