Embracer Group Q2 Financial Results

Embracer Group’s financial results for the second quarter of the 2023/2024 fiscal year reflect a period of significant corporate transition characterized by revenue growth alongside aggressive cost-cutting measures.

• Embracer Group reported a net loss of SEK 562 million for Q2 2023/2024, a significant reversal from the SEK 2.38 billion profit recorded in the same period last year.
• Net sales grew 13% year-over-year to SEK 10.83 billion, driven by a 25% increase in Tabletop Games and a 76% surge in Entertainment & Services, despite a 5% decline in the PC and Console segment.
• The company is executing a restructuring program to reduce net debt to at least SEK 8 billion by March 31, 2024, which has already resulted in 904 job cuts and the closure of studios including Volition and Campfire Cabal.
