The tournament organizer BLAST has announced that the first Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Major of 2024 will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark. Scheduled for March 28–31 at the K.B. Hallen Arena, this event marks the first time an RLCS major has taken place in Denmark. The competition serves as a critical milestone for the year, as teams will compete for a share of a $255,000 USD prize pool and earn essential RLCS points toward qualification for the Rocket League World Championship, which is slated for September.
This event is part of a broader strategic partnership between BLAST and Epic Games. In early January 2024, the two organizations finalized a multi-year agreement granting BLAST the rights to operate both the Rocket League Championship Series and the Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) throughout the 2024 calendar year.
The upcoming Copenhagen tournament will feature a live audience, with ticket sales commencing on February 16. By hosting this major in a new geographic market, the organizers continue to expand the global footprint of the Rocket League competitive circuit, reinforcing the ongoing professionalization and regional growth of the title’s esports ecosystem.
