Capcom
Net revenue increased by 55% year-over-year, reaching 70.4 billion yen.
Capcom experienced significant financial growth during the first quarter of the 2026 fiscal year, spanning April 1 to June 30, 2026. The company reported a 55% year-over-year increase in net revenue, reaching 70.4 billion yen ($430 million). Operating profit rose by 67% to 41 billion yen ($250 million), while net profit grew by 69% to 29.1 billion yen ($178 million). These results were largely driven by the successful launch of the title Pragmata and strong overall software sales.
Total game sales for the quarter reached 23.8 million units, representing a 68.1% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. Digital distribution remains the dominant sales channel, accounting for 93.3% of total volume. Platform performance indicates a strong preference for PC gaming, which comprised 60.4% of sales, followed by consoles at 32.9%. Geographically, the Japanese market accounted for 9.2% of total unit sales, with the remainder distributed internationally.
The company’s portfolio continues to benefit from long-term catalog performance, particularly within the Resident Evil franchise. Pragmata led quarterly sales with 2.5 million units, followed closely by the Resident Evil 4 Remake at 2.43 million units. Other top-performing titles included Resident Evil 2 Remake, Devil May Cry 5, and Monster Hunter: World. Based on these strong quarterly results, Capcom maintains its full-year revenue target of 210 billion yen ($1.33 billion), which would establish a new record for the company if achieved.
