Ubisoft and BLAST have restructured the season into four primary regional leagues. This aims to create a more sustainable professional environment.
The 2025 Rainbow Six Siege esports roadmap outlines a strategic restructuring of the global competitive ecosystem, developed through the ongoing partnership between Ubisoft and tournament organizer BLAST. The primary objective of these changes is to create a more sustainable professional environment by balancing player rest periods with increased opportunities for Tier 2 and grassroots talent to enter the competitive scene.
The 2025 season will commence in May with a LAN event titled Reload, followed by two stages of regional league play, a mid-season break in August, and a concluding November Major that leads into the Six Invitational. To streamline operations, the league has consolidated its global structure from nine regional leagues into four primary divisions: the Europe, MENA & Turkey League (EML); the South America League (SAL); the North America League (NAL); and the Asia Pacific League (APL). Each region will utilize a 10-team round-robin format, with performance across the two stages determining qualification for regional finals and international Majors.
Financial and organizational support for teams is also being expanded through an updated Affiliate Program. This initiative aims to support up to 23 organizations worldwide by providing a share of revenue from in-game branded items, including new categories such as operator portraits, drone skins, and pro-team charms. While 18 of the 20 partnered teams for the 2025 season have already been identified, the program is designed to integrate qualifying organizations automatically, ensuring a clear path for emerging teams to benefit from the league’s commercial ecosystem.
