These appointments expand WaveClear's leadership team. Ohad Finkelstein brings experience from Overwolf and investment firms.
WaveClear Ltd., an Israel-based developer, has expanded its leadership team by appointing Ohad Finkelstein and Jonathan Epstein to its board of directors. Finkelstein, who brings extensive experience from his roles at Overwolf and various investment firms, has been named board chairman. Epstein, an industry veteran with executive history at companies including GameSpot and IGN, will continue his existing responsibilities as the company’s chief strategy officer. Additionally, Bruce Hack, a former executive at Activision Blizzard and Vivendi Games, has joined the board as an observer.
The primary objective of these appointments is to leverage the new board members' professional networks and strategic expertise to support WaveClear’s growth. The company, which launched an AI-powered coaching application for League of Legends in March 2025, intends to transition from its current focus on competitive gaming into broader, high-impact industry verticals. The leadership expansion is intended to facilitate this scaling process and further the company's mission of developing mindset-strengthening tools for a global user base.
WaveClear’s current product is a free, ad-supported application available via the Overwolf App Store that requires no personal data or special permissions. By integrating these seasoned industry leaders, the company aims to refine its strategic direction as it evolves beyond its initial gaming-specific offerings.
