Take-Two Interactive’s fiscal year ending March 2026 reflects a period of significant financial recovery and strategic growth. The company reported annual revenue of $6.66 billion, an 18% increase over the previous year, alongside a record net cash flow of $6.72 billion. While the firm remains in a net loss position, the deficit narrowed dramatically to $298.2 million, down from $4.48 billion in the prior fiscal year. Management attributes this positive momentum to strong performance across its diverse portfolio, particularly within the mobile sector, where Zynga achieved its best results since its 2022 acquisition.
Revenue streams are heavily driven by recurrent consumer spending, which accounted for 78% of total earnings through microtransactions, DLC, and in-game advertising. Mobile titles generated 50% of total revenue, while the remaining balance was split between PC and console platforms. The company’s library continues to demonstrate long-term commercial viability, with cumulative sales reaching 470 million units for the Grand Theft Auto series, 115 million for Red Dead Redemption, and 173 million for the NBA 2K franchise. Additionally, mobile-focused subsidiary Rollic Games surpassed 3.9 billion total downloads.
Looking ahead, Take-Two maintains a positive outlook, forecasting revenue between $7.9 billion and $8.1 billion for the upcoming fiscal year. This growth is anchored by the confirmed release of Grand Theft Auto VI, scheduled for November 19, 2026. The company’s development pipeline remains robust, with 29 titles currently slated for release over the next three years, signaling a continued commitment to scaling its content output to meet market demand.
