Gamified knowledge-sharing platforms serve as a critical mechanism for enhancing collaboration and motivation among workers and supervisors within industrial settings. By integrating rule-based, adaptive gamification engines, these systems track user actions to foster community interaction and streamline information exchange. The primary objective of this research is to establish design guidelines that align digital engagement tools with the unique operational requirements and constraints of manufacturing environments, ultimately bridging the gap between theoretical gamification frameworks and practical industrial application.
Pilot testing conducted across two distinct manufacturing sites demonstrates that iterative design and user-centric feedback are essential for platform success. Quantitative assessments, utilizing the System Usability Scale, reveal high levels of user satisfaction, with scores consistently exceeding 80 in successful deployments. These findings indicate that when interfaces are simplified and content control is prioritized, gamification effectively drives engagement. The data suggests that the transition from static gamification to rule-based, adaptive systems significantly improves both usability and long-term user acceptance.
The scope of this analysis encompasses the intersection of human-computer interaction and industrial operations, focusing on the refinement of digital tools to support knowledge management. By emphasizing the necessity of interface simplicity and adaptive feedback loops, the research provides a roadmap for future development in the field. The findings conclude that while gamification holds substantial potential for industrial workforce development, its efficacy is contingent upon a continuous, iterative design process that accounts for the specific behavioral and operational needs of the industrial sector.
