Founded in 2017, the organization fields teams in major titles like League of Legends, Valorant, Dota 2, and Arena of Valor.
Talon Esports, a global organization based in Hong Kong, has expanded its commercial footprint through two strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing brand visibility and digital engagement. The organization, which operates across the Asia Pacific region with rosters in titles such as League of Legends, Valorant, and Dota 2, is leveraging these collaborations to capitalize on its participation in major international competitions and the growing blockchain-based gaming sector.
The first partnership involves a collaboration with the Saudi Arabian streetwear brand Certified Saudi Arabia. Facilitated by the Hawk Gaming Group, this deal centers on a limited-edition apparel collection featuring designs that merge Talon’s bird logo with the Saudi national falcon. This initiative is specifically timed to coincide with Talon’s participation in an eight-week World Cup competition in Riyadh, where the organization is fielding teams in PUBG Mobile, Starcraft 2, and Rainbow 6 Siege.
Simultaneously, Talon Esports has partnered with Perion Labs to promote XP.GG, a blockchain-based gaming platform launching on August 1. The platform supports titles including Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite, and Overwatch 2, offering users a "Universal Battle Pass" system that rewards skill-based challenges with prizes. The inaugural season features a prize pool that includes high-end gaming hardware and digital assets, with the organization intending to drive user acquisition for the platform as it expands its game library on a monthly basis. These dual agreements reflect a broader strategy of integrating physical merchandise with digital gaming ecosystems to deepen fan engagement.
