The acquisition includes all assets of the Dubai-based esports marketing and tournament organization firm. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Muller & Phipps Middle East Group has acquired all assets of Power League Gaming, a Dubai-based esports marketing and tournament organization firm. While the financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed, the acquisition includes a capital injection intended to scale the agency’s existing Dubai operations and facilitate a strategic expansion into the Saudi Arabian market by the fourth quarter of 2024.
Power League Gaming, founded in 2013, specializes in connecting non-endemic brands with gaming audiences through social media activations, streaming platform campaigns, and tournament operations. The agency operates a 10,000-square-foot production facility in Dubai and maintains a diverse portfolio of regional partnerships with major global brands, including Intel, PlayStation, Riot Games, and various consumer goods companies.
This acquisition aligns with broader regional trends, specifically the growing commitment of Saudi Arabia to establish itself as a global hub for the gaming and esports industry by 2030. By integrating Power League Gaming into its portfolio, Muller & Phipps aims to capitalize on the sustained growth of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) gaming sector, which has seen significant user engagement increases in recent years. The move positions the combined entity to play a more prominent role in the region's expanding professional gaming landscape.
