so [Music] oh [Music] uh [Music]
all right i just missed my squat uh leg make a little worse because the squat there's no way of cheating it uh it's gonna suck that's that's the harder part goes downhill from now again you don't need to have this equipment you do a squat you mean you can just do it with just body weight or your general water you want to add some something or weigh the best it's basically the best that's weighted that will uh give you more of a challenge the most important thing about squats [Music] but chest out butt out see that up and down most people that do it wrong or they just stand up
like this and it's too much pressure on your lower back [Music] i'm sure you guys have spots before it's not practice without the bar so even if you don't access the gym holding it down there it gives you lots of benefits so the next thing i want to do are dead lifts a lot of these exercises i mentioned this before compound exercises where it works out multiple muscles at the same time while concentrating on one and the squat and then those especially are derivatives of the cleans and snatch the lymph glyphs they're just broken down to concentrate basically techniques so the sad thing is people just exclusively do these isolated exercises or pump out exercises
never really do the clings and snatches which is uh to be honest part of my my my fault too i kind of fell into this i i did clean and snatched i was first introduced in high school what those were for football and uh here and there i would do it throughout college and throughout my adult life but not until recently i really incorporated as part of my routine workout pretty much every day either clean or snatch or rest for that reason for growing for that long i really suck at them and you'll see in a bit i really can't go too heavy like i slowly have to fill it up um and it's mostly deep because i can lift perspective not that heavy but my speeds and
snatches are not even close to that for my body weight and something in the next few weeks hopefully you'll see some some improvement but if you're a viewer out there who definitely are you know you gain that unchanged chance crowd out there i know you guys are muscular and knowledgeable human beings there's any wrong thing about my technique i want you guys to full blast man because i'm constantly one of the big reasons why i'm recording myself now and now i can review it and see what's wrong with it and this really helps heavier and um just as a recap strength business is part of merit i often do a lot of boxing kickboxing it's martial arts but i would like to think my strength fitness is towards that sport martial arts and a little bit of basketball
fully respect people just do strength training for the sport of it on a competitive level definitely very hard but i guess it's one of those um points for me when it comes to crossing when people are competing working out which i still don't understand uh where the goal is working on knocking off working out towards the goal which is i guess one of the most common insults towards crossfit at the road crossfit i do a lot of cross training obviously i don't do one particular thing but um hopefully you guys can learn these are a lot of techniques a lot of exercises i kind of call hold up over the years way smarter people than i am at this and i think i'm starting to feel like a good routine for myself
at least for this period until i change it up again but anyways the next thing i gotta do is deadlifts i gotta start finishing this up in 20 minutes usually i get two hours today's a shorter session i might finish up later and maybe i'll film my boxing session but uh yeah leave some comments below if you guys like to subscribe [Music] [Music] [Music]
okay [Music] hey [Music]
audio jungle [Music] order jungle oh [Music]
[Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music]
oh [Music] audio [Music] [Music] bye
[Music] bye [Music] [Music] [Music] oh
oh [Music] oh [Music] recap squats i just finished it's very important exercise it's a stabilizing hand this size it's going to foundation
and if you don't have the equipment you can do that just with your body weight right the most important thing blood out chest up and uh trying to just stabilize going down where the bar usually goes it should be in between where your chest and buttocks are right in the middle to balance everything out that's where the weight sits it's very important a lot of that can be achieved in terms of and finesse should be done without fault if you're a beginner so only when you're comfortable well i have a problem you know i need to go a little lower i tend to stop right here which is not low enough that's something i'm working on the next thing i do against deadlifts my back is killing me i'm just wrapping
things up shorter sessions today but i'm gonna be trying to do this every day well we'll be doing this every day i do work out every day i'm gonna set you guys up hopefully as this as informed if you guys are starting to think about the interview fitness is very important to do so okay [Music] bye
[Music] audio jungle [Music] jungle [Music] [Music] oh [Music]
bye [Music] [Music] [Music] all right guys i'm gonna finish up real quick give me a few more but i'm sweating i gotta prep for my interview hopefully today said a little short is sweet and like i said i'm going to do these more and more regularly now that i got it like hopefully all the background sounds not too bad maybe if i hold it up like this it's a little bit more concentrated so the goal of this channel or gamer physique
to help with your mental health i know it's a lot of people smearing but if you're not exercising to start the day it's the end of the day or take a break in between work you're giving yourself a disservice i really want to push this and change the narrative what the gamer physique actually is we usually have like a very bad impression when it comes to game developer and how gamers are supposed to look like so i want to do my best to put my message out there to say hey man i know so many game developers while during before working industry with amazing bodies right everybody if you have your willpower to fall through um yeah just try dude i i really do think a
short run in the morning really helps your output throughout the day it does for me i know the days when i missed it so without further ado i'll see you guys tomorrow dropping the dysports channel if you don't want to know my schedule i usually crank this out in the morning and lately i'm starting later which i don't like because it just pushes everything back so i'll see you in the discord channel just six let's work out together man if that becomes the thing i'll give you guys some exercise to do while i'm doing it that could be a thing free lessons all right guys have a good one [Music] you
The Gamer Physique initiative serves as a platform to promote physical health as a vital component of mental well-being, specifically targeting the gaming and game development communities. The primary thesis posits that regular exercise, particularly strength training, acts as a therapeutic tool that enhances daily productivity and challenges the negative stereotypes often associated with the physical appearance of gamers and industry professionals. By documenting personal workout routines, the project aims to inspire viewers to integrate fitness into their daily schedules, regardless of their access to professional gym equipment.
The core of the training methodology focuses on compound movements, including squats, deadlifts, and Olympic-style lifts like snatches and cleans. These exercises are emphasized for their ability to engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously, providing a comprehensive foundation for strength. Technical instruction is provided for these movements, with a specific focus on proper form—such as maintaining an upright chest and stable posture—to prevent injury and maximize efficiency. The content encourages viewers to utilize bodyweight variations if gym access is limited, reinforcing the idea that consistency and technique are more important than specialized equipment.
The initiative advocates for a holistic approach to fitness, incorporating cross-training elements such as boxing and martial arts alongside traditional strength training. The creator emphasizes the importance of self-review through video recording to refine technique and track progress over time. By fostering an interactive environment where viewers can ask questions and share feedback, the project seeks to build a community centered on mutual motivation and the shared goal of improving physical and mental performance. Ultimately, the program serves as a call to action for sedentary professionals to prioritize movement as a means of improving their overall quality of life and professional output.
