KRAFTON achieved record financial performance in fiscal year 2025, driven by the sustained success of its PUBG franchise and the early commercial validation of new intellectual properties. The company reported full-year consolidated revenue of approximately $2.28 billion, a 22.8% increase over the previous year. Fourth-quarter performance was particularly strong, with revenue reaching $631 million, marking a 48.9% year-over-year growth across PC, console, and mobile platforms. New titles also contributed to this momentum, with both inZOI and MIMESIS surpassing one million copies sold shortly after their respective launches.
Despite these top-line gains, profitability experienced a decline as the company prioritized heavy investment in talent, technology, and long-term franchise development. Operating profit fell 11% to $724 million, while net profit dropped 43.7% to $503 million. Management characterized this margin compression as a strategic decision to build a foundation for future scalability and pipeline expansion, accepting short-term costs to support long-term growth objectives.
To bolster investor confidence, KRAFTON announced a significant mid- to long-term shareholder return policy spanning 2026 through 2028. The company committed to returning at least $686 million to shareholders during this period, consisting of approximately $206 million in annual cash dividends and at least $480 million in share buybacks. As an initial step in this program, the company approved a $137 million share repurchase scheduled to commence in February 2026. These measures underscore a commitment to balancing aggressive operational investment with consistent capital returns to shareholders.
