Krafton
Krafton’s strategic roadmap for 2025 and beyond centers on achieving KRW 7 trillion in revenue and doubling corporate value by fiscal year 2029. The company aims to reach these milestones by leveraging the PUBG intellectual property franchise while simultaneously diversifying its portfolio through new IP investments and global publishing initiatives. The current development pipeline includes 13 games across four distinct categories, ranging from established genre champions to experimental projects designed to pioneer new gameplay experiences.
Financial performance for the first half of 2025 reflects a period of record-setting growth, with revenue reaching KRW 1.53 trillion, an 11.9% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Operating profit also hit a record high of KRW 703.3 billion, representing a 9.5% year-over-year growth. Despite these gains, the second quarter of 2025 saw a sequential decline in both revenue and operating profit, attributed to increased personnel, marketing, and commission expenses, alongside significant non-operating losses linked to foreign exchange fluctuations.
The company’s operational strategy emphasizes deep integration with global player communities, particularly through influencer-led viral marketing and localized content strategies in regions such as India, where the BGMI title remains a primary growth driver. Furthermore, Krafton is actively reinforcing its technical foundation by integrating AI-driven development tools and expanding its studio network through strategic acquisitions and minority investments. These efforts are supported by a robust balance sheet, with total equity standing at KRW 6.84 trillion as of the second quarter of 2025. The company continues to prioritize long-term franchise development, exemplified by the ongoing expansion of inZOI and the acquisition of studios like Eleventh Hour Games to bolster its ARPG capabilities.
