Adjusted EBITDA also declined by 9.9% to $167.3 million, despite the record revenue.
Playtika Holding Corp. reported record-breaking financial results for the first quarter of 2025, ending March 31, 2025. The company achieved total revenue of $706.0 million, representing an 8.6% sequential increase and an 8.4% rise year over year. This growth was primarily attributed to the company’s core portfolio of mobile gaming titles and the strategic acquisition of SuperPlay. Direct-to-consumer (DTC) platforms also demonstrated growth, with revenue reaching $179.2 million, up 4.5% compared to the same period in 2024.
Operational metrics highlighted strong engagement and monetization trends. Average daily paying users rose to 390,000, a 26.2% increase year over year, while average payer conversion improved to 4.3% from 3.5% in the first quarter of 2024. Performance across the portfolio was mixed; the flagship title Bingo Blitz reached all-time high revenue of $162.4 million, and Dice Dreams saw a significant sequential revenue increase of 124.5%. Conversely, Slotomania revenue declined 17.4% year over year.
Despite record revenue, profitability metrics faced downward pressure. GAAP net income fell 42.3% year over year to $30.6 million, and adjusted EBITDA decreased 9.9% to $167.3 million. The company maintains its full-year guidance, projecting revenue between $2.80 billion and $2.85 billion and adjusted EBITDA between $715 million and $740 million. To manage its capital structure, the company extended the maturity of its revolving credit facility to September 2027 and reduced its aggregate principal amount to $550 million. Additionally, the board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share, payable in July 2025, reflecting a continued commitment to shareholder returns despite current market volatility and operational challenges.
