The Indian esports media platform Esportz.in has announced the fourth edition of its annual Esportz Premier Series, a year-long, open-for-all tournament designed to foster community engagement and provide a competitive platform for amateur and professional players alike. The series maintains its commitment to inclusivity by featuring a diverse range of gaming genres, including titles such as Counter-Strike 2, Free Fire MAX, EA Sports FC 24, and Assetto Corsa Competizione.
The 2024 iteration introduces a structured regional qualification format across India, encompassing the East, West, South, and North regions. Each game title will host dedicated qualifiers in these areas, culminating in in-person regional LAN finals. The series will conclude with a grand finale event, referred to as the Mega LAN, which will be held at the end of the year. The total prize pool for the competition is set at ₹25,00,000 INR, equivalent to approximately $30,000 USD.
First launched in 2021, the Esportz Premier Series serves as a key intellectual property for the India-based media and production company EZPlay Private Limited. By implementing a regionalized approach, the organizers aim to strengthen the grassroots esports ecosystem within the country. While the competition is scheduled to commence with the West region, specific dates and further operational details remain forthcoming.
