Major tournaments are scheduled for Dallas, Birmingham, Atlanta, and Paris. The Championship Weekend will be held in Las Vegas.
The Call of Duty League has unveiled its operational roadmap for the 2026 season, focusing on a global expansion of event locations and structural adjustments to competitive formats. The league will host four major tournaments across international cities, including Dallas, Birmingham, Atlanta, and Paris, with the Championship Weekend scheduled for Las Vegas. Additionally, the league will maintain a presence at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The 2026 season introduces significant format changes designed to increase the stakes of online qualifying matches. A full round-robin structure will be implemented for the initial stages, requiring teams to play 11 matches, with the bottom seeds facing elimination before the major tournaments. The league is also reintroducing the ProAm Classic, which will feature 12 professional teams alongside four challenger squads. Furthermore, the competitive game mode for the season will transition to Overload, replacing the previous Control mode.
Support for the tier-2 ecosystem is expanding, with the number of Challengers Opens increasing from three to four, aligning each event with a major tournament. The league is also broadening its geographic reach for the Challengers circuit by integrating the Middle East into the European region. These updates, announced by league leadership, aim to enhance the quality of professional gameplay while providing more consistent opportunities for emerging talent within the competitive ecosystem.
