Riot Games finalized its broadcast and co-streaming partnerships for the event. The finals featured six competitive teams.
Riot Games has finalized its broadcast and co-streaming partnerships for the 2023 League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) Season Finals, held in Montpellier, France, on September 9–10, 2023. The primary objective of this initiative is to maximize global accessibility for the event by facilitating coverage in 15 different languages.
The broadcast strategy leverages a diverse network of regional partners to reach international audiences. Key organizations involved in the distribution include OTP (France), LVP (Spain), Frenzy (Poland), F4U (Germany), PG Esports (Italy), Esports1 TV (Hungary), Inygon TV (Portugal), PVP (Greece), Fortuna (Serbia), Hitpoint (Czechia), Unlocked (Netherlands), Afreeca (South Korea), and TJ Sports (China). Additionally, Riot Games is managing a dedicated Turkish-language broadcast, while the main English-language stream is hosted via the official LEC Twitch channel.
Beyond traditional broadcast partnerships, the event incorporates a co-streaming model to enhance viewer engagement. Notable streamer Ibai is scheduled to provide remote co-streaming, while several other creators—including NoWay4u_Sir, Werlyb, Yuste, and Littleragergirl—are slated to broadcast live from the Sud de France arena. The finals feature a competitive lineup consisting of Fnatic, MAD Lions, G2 Esports, Team BDS, EXCEL, and SK Gaming. This multi-channel approach underscores a strategic effort to broaden the reach of the LEC brand across diverse geographic markets and demographics.
