Gamecity Hamburg has launched the Road to Nordic Game 2025 initiative, a program designed to support the local games industry by facilitating international exposure for Hamburg-based developers. The primary objective is to provide selected studios and independent developers with a platform to showcase their projects at the Nordic Game Conference, one of Europe’s prominent industry events, scheduled for May 20–23, 2025.
The program offers four successful applicants a dedicated space at the Gamecity Hamburg booth. Selected participants receive comprehensive exhibition support, including two exhibitor passes per team, a white display cabinet, a 27-inch monitor, and necessary peripherals. Furthermore, participants gain access to the conference’s matchmaking services and the Developer Showcase, providing critical networking opportunities with publishers, press, and industry peers.
Eligibility is restricted to commercially oriented game companies or developers with a headquarters or branch office located in Hamburg. Applicants must possess a playable version of their game, and preference is given to projects currently without a publisher. Interested parties are required to submit their applications via an online form by the March 30 deadline. Following the submission period, all entries will undergo an assessment process to determine the final participants. This initiative reflects a broader regional commitment to fostering growth and international visibility for the Hamburg games ecosystem.
