Preview Of 2023 Review

[Music] hey it's your old buddy Chris sukowski here it's January which means it's time to review what happened in the previous year on Steam we're going to do it just like we did last year and we're going to look at what happened what's selling what's not and we're going to make it fun because it's going to be live a live presentation this coming Monday January 29th at 9:00 a.m. my time which is mountain standard time I don't know when it's going to be at your place just check this chart check the other times you you'll figure it out you'll figure it out but anyway what I did was I looked at every game that sold four Indies in the previous year I looked at the top games the Noto top games and I saw some Trends and I'm going to tell you what I found I'm going to see what was selling well what was not selling everything in between and then I also compared it to the previous years I looked right here I said what sold last year what's sold this year is there any comparison is the stuff that still hot

was hot or is it all new we found some neat things I'm going to be reviewing this in the presentation we're going to be looking at games that have always been hot these vampire survivors people love vampire survivors it's still going to be hot and I'm going to take a look at why that is we're going to look at other genres that maybe have not been so hot in the past but have had some recent hits 2D Platformers are favorite genres we're going to look at some good Platformers here we're also going to look at some interesting games that are beautiful look at these games are so cool we're going to look at what happened there we're going to look at games that could be made by small teams stuff that's attainable these games sold well it is possible folks we're going to take a look at why and how you're also going to get some other themes that I've kind of pulled out the co-op Boom the death of the party game Publishers to watch out for Publishers to watch for we're also going to look up what's with cats what is with them in some capsule Trends because don't make your own capsules folks but but tell your artists
