The PCF Group 3M24 financial results report outlines the company’s operational performance and financial standing for the first quarter of 2024. The primary objective is to provide transparency regarding the group’s ongoing AAA game development, self-publishing initiatives, and VR production projects, while detailing the financial outcomes of these activities. The group maintains a global footprint with studios across Europe and North America, employing a workforce of 763 individuals as of March 31, 2024.
Financial performance for the first quarter of 2024 shows a notable increase in profitability compared to the same period in 2023. Revenue rose to 56.9 million PLN, driven by the launch of Bulletstorm VR and continued progress on the Maverick project. EBITDA and adjusted EBITDA both reached 11.0 million PLN, a significant improvement over the 3.0 million PLN recorded in 3M 2023. Despite these gains, the company reported a net loss of 0.9 million PLN, attributed to a more prudent accounting approach regarding the capitalization of new projects and increased investment in the publishing team.
The portfolio strategy remains balanced between work-for-hire projects, such as the ongoing development of Maverick and negotiations with Square Enix, and self-publishing efforts, including the Bifrost and Victoria titles scheduled for 2025–2026. Additionally, the group’s VR division, Incuvo, continues to support Green Hell VR and Bulletstorm VR while advancing the Bison project. The balance sheet reflects a stable position, with equity capital reaching 427.9 million PLN and cash, equivalents, and bonds totaling 159.4 million PLN as of the end of the first quarter. The company emphasizes that these results are based on current management projections and are subject to market variables.
