The new season features a total prize pool of $1.5 million USD.
GRID Esports has announced the second season of its Champion of Champions Tour (CCT), a competitive Counter-Strike 2 series. The tournament, which officially commences on April 15, 2024, features a total prize pool of $1.5 million USD and is scheduled to conclude with a global finals event held from May 16 to May 23, 2025.
The tour encompasses 36 regionally-focused online events spanning Europe, South America, North America, and Oceania. A primary structural change for the second season involves the consolidation of the European circuit into a single region, moving away from the previous multi-divisional format to streamline the path to the global finals. North and South American circuits have also been condensed into simplified Main and Playoffs stages. The distribution of events allocates 20 to Europe, eight to South America, and four each to North America and Oceania.
Operational execution for the series is managed through strategic partnerships. EDEN Esports, based in Malta, is responsible for event organization and broadcast production, while New Zealand-based LetsPlay.Live oversees the Oceania circuit. These operational adjustments and the revised regional structure aim to provide a more cohesive competitive framework for participants as the series continues its expansion within the global Counter-Strike 2 ecosystem.
