The ENAD Global 7 Q4 2024 interim report outlines the company’s financial performance for the final quarter and the full fiscal year of 2024. The company concluded the year with its strongest quarter, reporting 513 million SEK in net revenue and 129 million SEK in adjusted EBITDA, representing an adjusted EBITDA margin of 25%. Despite this late-year momentum, the full-year results fell short of internal expectations, with net revenue reaching 1,713 million SEK—a 16.2% year-over-year decline—and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 19%, missing the company’s updated 20% target.
Key drivers for the fourth quarter included the release of MechWarrior 5: Clans, strong digital and physical performance from the Fireshine label, and successful annual expansion packs for Daybreak’s portfolio. Conversely, the full-year underperformance was attributed to the disappointing commercial reception of MechWarrior 5: Clans, a prolonged market downturn, and operational difficulties within the Toadman and Petrol business units.
To address these challenges, the company implemented significant organizational restructuring and cost-reduction measures, totaling approximately 191 million SEK in annualized savings over the past year. This included the full wind-down of Toadman and downsizing at Piranha and Petrol. These actions are intended to mitigate risk and improve profitability moving into 2025.
Looking ahead, the company aims to return to growth in 2025, supported by a new product pipeline including the release of Palia and a new title from Cold Iron. While management remains optimistic about delivering solid performance, they have opted not to provide specific financial guidance for 2025, citing the inherent variability and unpredictability associated with new game launches.
