Raport Bieżący Nr 25/2020: Liczba Graczy Oczekujących na Zakup Gier (Steam Wishlist)
PlayWay S.A. identifies the Steam wishlist as the primary indicator of sales potential for PC titles, utilizing this metric to gauge market interest across its entire capital group. As of July 12, 2020, the total number of players waiting to purchase games from the group’s portfolio exceeded 8.16 million. This figure encompasses both released titles and upcoming projects, reflecting a significant consolidated audience within the simulation and strategy genres on the Steam platform.
The data highlights a strong performance among released titles, led by House Flipper with over 783,000 wishlist entries. Other established games showing sustained interest include Thief Simulator with approximately 417,000 entries, followed by Car Mechanic Simulator 2018, Cooking Simulator, and UBOAT, which range between 269,000 and 333,000 entries. These figures suggest a long tail of consumer interest even after a game’s initial launch, as players track titles for future discounts or updates.
Regarding the pipeline of upcoming releases, Builders of Egypt leads the group’s unreleased titles with nearly 173,000 wishlist entries. The pipeline also features Bum Simulator, Mr. Prepper, Junkyard Simulator, and Occupy Mars: The Game, all of which have secured over 115,000 entries each. This concentration of interest in niche simulation titles underscores the company’s strategic focus on specific PC market segments. The disclosure of these statistics serves to provide transparency regarding the commercial viability of the group’s development cycle and its anticipated revenue drivers in the global digital distribution market.
