Playing Will You Snail Mods (Anniversary Stream)

has had has made a bunch of really cool mods in the last year and I haven't played any of them pretty much so I thought one year anniversary anniversary is a great opportunity to do that I will just I have five mods prepared we'll go through them and if we have time I'll answer a couple of questions from chat as well and hopefully it should be fun the first mod we're playing is the one I'm secretly kind of most looking forward to will you golf by missing texture man let's hope it all goes well um I'm just gonna start up the game and then we'll we'll do some quick audio balancing if you can hear both me as well as the game that would be fantastic uh-huh let's see let's see how we do this I'll redo this no that's not quite it yeah we want both me as well as the game

and then we'll delete my old safe and I'll turn down the volume a little bit for me and then we'll turn down the volume a little bit for you I guess maybe to 40 percent if it's too cool if like if it's quite original you'll just have to scream at me in chat RG rgc exists this year as well will I think played two mods from you as well looking forward to that not that loud okay good volume okay this game is old now yeah one year old games pretty much Dead game 40 is good okay we'll we'll see well probably you know in game it's a little bit louder so we'll see because I I definitely know the feeling if you like

watching streams with poorly balanced audios like usually a very miserable experience and so just let me know if it's off just let me know I'll fix it foreign can't believe it's been a year since you released the game feels like it was just the other day yay yeah I feel that time time's passing so quickly it's kind of crazy how are mods created that is a fantastic question I would say you can just join the will you snail Discord the link to that is in the description and there's a fabulous modding Community there just go go to the modding Channel and ask people how they do it I think most models use the the undertale modding tool because undertale is made in game maker so the the undertale modding tool seems to be sort of a game maker modding tool so people use that and as mentioned the first phone will play we're playing is just will you Golf and I tested it a little bit to see if

it works like it has the first two levels and I was already delighted you should do a mid-year Huawei gem for making mods for release nail I mean the problem is making mods is kind of such a Niche topic that not a lot of people are into it I think it's a little bit too too much of a thing to run an entire gem around will you undertale a civilian snare rip off but temporarily that doesn't work that way but but maybe the other way around that definitely took some inspiration from from undertale mods aren't a niche yeah sure mods mods aren't but much Creation with the undertale modding tool kindness also you know not a lot of people I think

played will use snare mods so far because a a lot of people don't know the mods even exists and and then also others just don't know how to install it so maybe that's something this stream can help a little help with a little bit as well just so you so you see what what mods are out there wonderful so this one here is um will you Golf and we'll just get started as you can see the snail has been replaced by a golf ball um I think I have to press jump oh yeah yeah so I already love the idea of course with this year as well and this is the point in time where we'll have to figure out if the the volume is still fine can you hear about me as well as squid decently well try to stop me if you can I just played gold you just played will you golf today or a real golf what do you mean what do you mean

volume good okay perfect wonderful I mean the the beginning fairly easy fairly straightforward but even these levels here are already way more difficult than in standard will use nail I love that it shows me the amount of hits I had so far as well and one thing I really love about this mod as well is that um you know it kind of allows me to double jump because I get I think I get one additional uh short mid air as you can see here but not no more than one after that I have to wait till the ball kinda gets into a resting position and I find that very strategically interesting to be honest very different from other golfing games because because usually you get one shot and that's it and here you get two shots at once basically so that's pretty cool I love that control scheme

has this level alone here it's already so much more difficult just getting up here no almost fell down there missing texture what are you doing to me and here's our first encounter with the spikes let's see let's see how how well we do this is where I stopped playing last time yeah this is where it gets difficult oh oh as you know I'm not not quite that that profession not a super professional streamer I'm not I don't have those streamer skills yet so doing like playing and looking at chat at the same time is something that's kind of difficult for me they'll have to do one at a time hats oh you I should try hats you say fine fine we'll check out hats

actually I forgot the secret codes I'll have to check up their records already yeah the controls are making me dizzy squid oh no no oh my God this is like getting over it is just like getting over it we even have some snarky comments from squid as well ah come on why did I forget the code hold on how do I even can I even press the button maybe we should try that first uh also I think I might remember the code let's see okay [Applause] [Music] we'll have to go a little

slowly here as we approach correct number uh I I already see it coming we'll be stuck in the tutorial for like the entire live stream I'll definitely have to watch the clock a little bit because as mentioned we only have about two hours and I want to make sure to at least cover all of the mods I have on my list here oh Jesus Christ oh you're gonna like how are you for example gonna be the boss fight like that it's gonna be literally impossible isn't it let's check out heads they actually work I think we'll go with the oh it's wrong that's a rolling around the wall okay that's nice attention to

detail here I didn't expect that I I want to get up there I want to get the human head ah okay that's a good shot good shot good shot another one another brick might as well as mentioned might as well stream getting over it at this point yes yes just a little bit oh just a little to the left and okay that looks wonderfully stupid I will go with that [Music] riding our back here truly the most efficient method of transportation you're basically

strapping yourself to a giant golf ball who doesn't know right even got a steam achievement for that like for for wearing a hat uh even level select comes some impossible challenge okay I'll play like maybe one or two levels here and then I think we'll just skip ahead to actual actual gameplay levels I think I'm getting the hang of this and we want to see some real action here right and most importantly you want to see more mods mods all the mods I'm getting insulted by my own voice

lines okay I think I can just the best strategy might just be to sort of one shot Peru here [Music] and then stop no no not the best strategy okay what if I go up and then to the right that's that's the way right but no no that's not the way because you have time that way too precisely just one more time please I will treasure this pun as much as I can nailing over it yeah it's nailing over it indeed at the earliest we don't have to start like from the very beginning if we fail

just proceed squid shut up shut up shut up squid oh even this strategy doesn't work here I mean if I can't even beat the easiest challenge in the game then obviously moving on to more difficult tasks doesn't make any sense we definitely gotta beat this one before we do anything that's even more difficult and I think we we got it yes that's a bit disappointing next up I'd like to choose the correct difficulty level I've already seen a bit honestly why didn't I go for this movement system probably is nice it's a really good movement system I've never seen anything like certain games like a 2d platforming golf game where you get a double jump it's I've never seen that before is there any game that actually does that

be aware of anything it's quite simple of the landline quickly as possible do you understand yes skip skip skip that's how real will you snail veterans play they'll just skip all of The Voice lines squid is telling me I can't get up here but obviously with the golf mods I can clearly oh hell yeah like combine that with some sort of time trial mode and I think that'll be very epic okay we've got one of the easier difficulties at least let's see if we can uh gameplay this is features regulation mode on yeah

so now we'll just um cheat our way into the first level One play it on easy you guys are crazy fine I'll play on easy fine are you really sure you can you wanna see me suffer fine oh actually seems like the difficulty was adjusted was it there aren't any spikes missing texture man wonderful oh there's one Spike I like usually this is the hardest duplicate but I gotta say it oh what is the difficulty craft man oh my God oh my supposed to get through this no there's no way I'll just go for a lucky shot

okay why wrong direction okay I'll I'll try to take it and I mean the the ball has to come to a full stop before I can jump again so that's really really brutal [Music] and then when I stop I just get eaten by a spike please notice me I'm a gamed of tool see I I looked over to stream just as you typed that oh my God that was that was clearly destiny definitely having a rough ride oh my God now I can relate to people who play my game for the first time I'm pretty sure this is how it must feel like just

utterly impossible oh my God see the hitbox the the spikes have very forgiving hitboxes sometimes uh there's why did you want me to play this uneasy there's literally no way I'm gonna get through this not a chance uh okay that was I think that was the furthest I ever got wonderful wonderful color scheme 2 yeah should we switch to traditional color scheme or should we not who cares all all color schemes are created equal notice me I made Chrome you don't do anything sure you did sure sure the AIS are taking trying to take over chat I think

[Music] I'm just gonna keep trying for a little bit so you you'll get your daily dose of Jonas pain and tears and then we gotta move on like there's no way has anybody been to this level and with this mod unable there's no way right don't notice me please oh too late man too late notice me I made will you snail oh God no I'm I'm just not gonna look at chat anymore this is getting out of hand s oh no problems go away when you ignore them no I'm just not noticing any of them oh what a shame um difficulty went down that's horrible now maybe we have a chance finally let

me get through here oh that's not a bad thread actually just shooting to the side and then shooting upwards to slow down that's not as bad stradded or not a dog [Applause] okay this this seems more doable on just difficulty I like that a lot better yeah stop there wonderful oh no oh hell no foreign missing texture when you could have at least switched out like the voice line so he says he should have golfed here next instead of you should have jumped

here what is that they didn't even change the voiceless okay this is the first of the furthest I've ever gotten since I gotta Focus I gotta Focus and maybe just a small yeah but not that easy you idiot it is very fun I really like the movement system I almost like it better than the original one definitely kind of wish there was a proper steam game with this movement system I love it I love it I love it oh Jesus Christ I want some golfing voice lines come on come on [Music]

okay this is my last attempt by last attempt [Music] and then you have a hit counter as well you can even try to do it with fewer hits of you really want to okay this is by large the job last gym yeah yeah yeah okay let me try um I really want to try one of the boss fights just to see if it's even remotely possible because I really doubt it where do you actually I don't know I can just pick it up like that oh my God there's there's no way there's no way okay pick it up yay

so what is the strategy we go for here do we do we just try to defeat him by removing the ground Maybe [Music] let's maybe try that I'll start over here and I will that doesn't quite work well enough right or did I just not go slow enough yeah I have to go slower and now that was already a hole why was snow hole wow why you do that I don't know [Music] oh no

yeah yeah this is um this is how new players must feel and when you snail I get it it's very frustrating uh it just feels like you you can't get anything done nothing's working you don't know what to do it feels completely unfair and you're also getting shamed for why okay oh oh that was a good attempt it was a decent attempt maybe we can do it afterwards come on I need one more excess can only have failures haven't been I would be very sad [Music] ah damn it I wanted to jump again why couldn't I jump again squid is so nice how's that

look at the will you golf credits um okay I'll try to do that change the ball [Music] where can I change the ball sell me I think it's probably Graphics display mode good visuals where did you put the settings for the ball visuals are you very frustrated no I've been only only been trying for like 20 minutes you are the best game deaf I know just stop the simping already it's enough enough simping for one day I'm sorry if that was unfair you you just happen to be caught in a big way of

simping so I just assumed you were simping gameplay bro okay let's check gameplay in gameplay characters oh the newborn boy oh they even have different properties rubber ball oh Jesus Christ let's go with The Rock literally a rock yeah okay wonderful let's go with that okay yeah yeah this is perfect for this one this is just what I that's what I needed to pull off my strategy of destroying the ceiling and like really small hops on the ground here that is really nice attention characters to choose from I'm very pleasantly surprised and I

already expected a lot from this box but it controls really well and if there's different characters like what's going on what's going on oh my God oh my God okay okay I think we got this I think we got this oh my God it got so close there but I feel it this is this is the ball that'll make it all work will work oh did you see that transition jumped there oh my God why am I so good why oh

God now I'm eating something for myself that's it's a bad sign s are yeah that's what you're right but that doesn't make me right good damn I just start this way worse because this time I didn't manage to create a proper gap in the ground on the right there but that is kind of necessary and otherwise how am I get those baddies over there that long all by myself I gotta jump into the spikes otherwise this strategy doesn't work

yeah yeah yeah throughout the ground yes that is exactly the corner of the school you can't see because my face come is coming I know it's fine okay okay you can see wonderful wonderful yeah this is the one this is the one I don't know okay I think uh I think maybe we can try out one more level and then we should probably move on to the next mod because we have a couple more to check out and we've already spent like half an hour is there any level we should try I think the physics underwater are probably the same right yeah okay there are no but still interesting to see how these underwater currents work out so they basically act more or less like

around let's try maybe let's maybe try out one more ball gameplay characters let's try what is Squid's ball kind of sounds it's overpowered apparently let's try it very floaty oh you can you have infinite hits with that okay yeah that makes things very easy or do you have no you don't thank you but I think you get one extra jump here do you yeah has an extra jump yeah that is definitely overpowered other than that this still seems like a difficult level to overcome oh my God this is so frustrating I think

I after the tutorial I've not beaten a single level but that's also your fault because you made me play on on easy why did you do that oh God no I can't do it credits okay everybody's screaming credits fine fine we'll check out the credits uh wait I thought the credits I hear apparently they're not mods why is there a mod menu in and will you golf okay let's check out the credits uh I don't think anything in the credits is different is is there settings more

that didn't seem too spectacular here let me settings more now oh yeah there are credits true but there's nothing in those credits look there's just the normal credits they did not I didn't patch those or anything go the normal way ah Jesus Christ babe what are you making me do we're running out of time let's switch to different ball gameplay uh uh characters let's just go back to the classic file oh that's not the classic bar [Music] the standard ball I think the golfing ball right gameplay characters golf ball there we go

fine we'll go to the credits uh minus spoiler warning for everybody watching of course but like if you're still worried about spoilers like one year after the game came out then not much we can do to help you I think but also the other mods and stuff like that I think they'll they'll be quite a couple of spoilers hey wise oh yeah yeah no no I see okay that's the last level minus spoiler literally the game said I mean there's more after this but I'll just rush through this area all right so the normal way that I already missed whatever special here or is the special thing just that it's impossible to get up here

yes replace that on the fur then we go to the mods folder and then I would say you you have to choose a mod now I'll show you what I got and you tell me in chat which one we should install next we have better will use now we have chaos Edition we have snail hot which I think is a super hot homage and then we have this is the only level and will your golf is the one we just played I see snail hot okay we added a new mod to the list last minute okay I can I have a link to that I'll check it out if in case we run out of mods we have another one another one that's great news other than that if we if for some reason we don't manage to get through all of the mods today then I'll just play them on Jonas bonus in like a little video or something that's that's not a problem because now now I know how to install them and it's

actually not that difficult I can make it work okay I I think I see snail hot the most so we're uh gonna go with that short delay as I fix my screen here that means snail Hut okay then we need to start flips apply patch and then we have to find the patch selected wonderful then we have to find the original will you snail directory um [Music] and replace the data file do it yes this patch was applied successfully

okay I hope I did it correctly but we'll we'll see in a second in case I did then we can change the text up here too [Music] um snail hot by the doggy nature what a wonderful name I'm very happy we have that on screen now um okay okay let's let's see if we if it will it blend well Z re-download chaos Edition it's a bug fix okay I can do that do you know about the will you snare movie that depends which one um I'm a big fan thank you

I got will you snail on switch and PC awesome um yes which is I think switch is one of the coolest platforms to play I really like playing it on switch as I hear from the chat Jonas re-download yeah okay but it's not not snail Hodge the the hotfix as far as I read was about chaos Edition so before we install chaos Edition we'll re-download this is snail Hodge let's delete the save file and start from scratch yeah okay okay okay I see how this works basically whenever I don't press any buttons the frame rate just drops to absolutely horrible I mean that's a easy easy enough way to do it so that's fair

and I would say we skip ahead to where it gets interesting exploration mode yeah yeah so the most starts we'll start with the action and of course of course you want me to play on the hardest difficulty yes that although that is acceptable that's acceptable because that's not it's not golfing anymore oh no you deleted it I'm not sure what you mean it seems to be all working fine actually are you mean the same file I deleted so many save files I'm not I'm not concerned about that anymore man okay so this is just basic release now but every time you don't move slows down so that's that's interesting we'll see if that makes it more or less difficult

could be both uh um definitely makes it a little more unpredictable here and there but as long as I keep moving it should be all fine right this much could also be called laggy will you smell that's a little bit how it feels in case you don't know that game I mean most of you probably do but if you don't and super hot time only moves when you do so basically um that was sort of replicated here web time only moves at real speed when when I press buttons otherwise when I stand still time kind of slows down thing is the gameplay implications of this are actually not not that huge at the very least not in this level here or in these beginning levels here because what's what really does it change except

for not being killed by spikes that come out of the ground also gets a little harder to control I'm not gonna deny that just more difficult to control as mentioned it feels a little bit like playing a laggy game yeah but I don't have too much trouble with that because I've played it so much this is actually for me personally this is probably the hardest level in the game I'm not sure if you agree or not but if you're playing on easy this is by far the hardest level so all the efforts more doable in snail hot so far I'm not having a lot of luck oh

hey buddy I'm fortunate all right all right all right all right all right all right can we do it this is turning into a game an intro Patience Test I must say that with these moving platforms like the gameplay impact of this mechanic is definitely a lot bigger than the level we played before [Music] so this is not just leggy will you snail anymore this definitely feels it's a little different [Music] why are the

holy crap why is it so fast sometimes something something is a little weird in the coat there you see the speed at which I moved there [Music] like I'm I don't think you're even that fast and like the real the actual version of the game I might be wrong but that seems a little bucked holy hell you speed up so much sometimes imagine playing there will you snail Golf and this at the same time I mean that wouldn't be too bad because um maybe that gives you some more time to aim with air or something [Music] you know what's harder than will you snail uh will you golf on easy the binary decrypting yeah that's fair [Music]

conveyor belts they definitely seem often this version okay I'll play One More Level and you get to choose which one just let me know which one should we play should we try the boss again in in this mode Jonas snare or should we should we try the Disco bus will you snail but no video it's a stream break or what yeah this feels like it's running on my toaster agreed can you show me what mods you have ready yeah yeah I can show you in a sec I think we're pretty much done with um snail hot okay I will play Mr dance we'll see how that goes it does the game get even faster if you

keep moving for a while some things definitely interesting there oh God oh God this is just yeah this just feels like leggy will you smell again like really snail on my toaster [Music] branchally run for your life no not on Shelly's birthday what are you doing oh no and usually that robot dances in the rhythm of the music but that is like completely destroyed as well with this model of Paris okay that was leggy will you snail it's actually a really fun idea and in some levels I think it works pretty well in other levels not so much but in some levels it seems pretty cool

um wonderful thanks thanks for the nice mod let's check out what we have next wow switching mods okay so let's see which ones we have left oh apparently I don't have Discord and don't disturb but maybe that's a good thing am I getting any secret insights no then I'll just hold on then I'll just mute that real quick so it doesn't disturb us again bet I will use nail you want to see batch I will use snail I think yeah okay okay we can we can save up chaos Edition for the end I think that's that's a good idea check the pole chaos one where's the pole where why why what what

who's just running poles without me knowing about it what's happening better release nail okay I see a lot of patch I will use nail I think better really snail is one of those mods that is not like completely mind-blowing but it has a couple of cool features that I'd be happy to show off so let's go with better release nail now and then we can check out the the chaos Edition and that more crazy stuff um towards the end that sounds good okay a better release nail does not require any hot fixes right oh my God now we'll have to click through all of these confusing folders again so we'll go once again to the backup here overwrite that with the backup to fix that file and we'll say apply pad and we'll go to the mods folder

and install better we'll use no better will use nail another one then we'll go to the install directory which I'll copy from here hmm [Music] um let's try that again maybe I misclicked something because this is not an easy process for for dummy brain like me all right we'll go with did I fix that correctly already I think I did right just to be sure all that apply patch select patch to use yes you want you want to go with better release nail and then we I'm pretty sure we want to apply that to

a data file right okay this time it seemed to work so apparently I just did it incorrectly last time so that means we can now change the text to that uh we'll use snail by rgc exists okay and like the screen is still in this weird zoomed in format work oh my God everything's breaking oh my God uh remove them here okay yeah cool I think we're ready so they also gave me a little list of what better will use snail even though so let's check that out

um something special happens when you get to the alt ending I'm not sure if I'm gonna spoil the alt ending on stream as well it's kind of getting into the real heavy spoiler territory and also I think I know what's gonna happen I think it's just gonna be one of my old credit song I'm pretty sure that's it because so many people have asked for that um all right extra exploration mode unlocks all secrets voice line modes okay let's check out voice land modes that definitely sounds interesting settings oh let me over here again it has different visuals the alt ending has different visuals the alt ending is really good I spend a long time and damn

it okay we'll spoil the alt ending whatever fine fine snake customization what shell okay that's interesting you can just go yellow snail with orange body and I can just switch heads more easily here I do get the actual heart hat when you choose that custom snail from image even holy hell you can Implement your own Shelly image clear Custom Image reset snail colors custom hat from image oh holy hell this is advanced it's crazy

soundtrack [Music] okay you can just listen to all of the soundtracks here I see better release nail links feedback suggestions okay I see cool a lot of work went into that your mic has white noise in the background I'm not sure if that's white noise or if it's just my um PC running let me see because I've set my microphone kind of loud when I'm not talking there shouldn't be any noise oh my God the White Noise mic works okay I'm not gonna freak out you can it works okay it's fixed why is it fixed no nobody knows okay

where can I switch the water mode I'm pretty sure that's one of the features as well in gameplay perhaps voice line mode evil encour encouraging okay we'll switch to the encouraging voice lines advanced level select yes um there's an exploration mode to get to the heart room easily there are too many there are too many different modes I don't I don't know what to do so in gameplay assist feature boilers ah here it is here it is

okay all of that happened so quickly that this barely counts as a spoiler am I right yo you won't even know what hit you we're just going to the alt ending real quick with piss snail piss snail maybe that's how the sequel will be called yeah of course we gotta do that again assist feature spoiler wow your peer pressuring me into spoiling pretty much everything but it's fine it's fine it's an old game uh yeah so let's see what's different what did you change

why is the game sound a volume is a bit reality I'm not sure what happened there [Music] the cringe song yeah I knew it but you uh you tricked me you said this would be something else but it's not but you did put some other visuals oh that's a shooting snowman or what is then what that's blocky but everything is so blurry that you can't see it by the tests

animations just like an oh God what is that others I know what that is that is one of the bosses but once again you can't see it because it's so blurry heart as well okay that's pretty cute [Music] everything is blue because I didn't want to color the Sprites [Music] does not need Auto-Tune I mean in a world where everything is going to be a i generated maybe some horrible singing It's not not the worst thing that can happen right this is just so good stop lying [Music] that was like the first draft I made for the song hats

ah just repeating the same animation again lame [Music] also it's just mirrors it's a little hard to read oh my God what are those transitions some Shader Magic or is it literally a video playing not entirely sure the credits are rolling but they seem to be a little offset it's a video okay okay that explains a lot play the randomizer mod okay we'll I mean we've seen a bit of what um better release snake and do let me check out if there's anything important we missed soundtrack player swap the Palm turn Invincible yeah okay so lots of cool support features turn absolutely

short username three letters that's the same one but a newer version okay well why does it keep throwing me out of the game with random messages okay let's keep playing after that little chaos Interruption I think it's very fitting that happened when playing chaos mod chaos mod doesn't only cause chaos in game it also Causes Chaos and chat and in the live stream overall that's how chaotic it is these two mods are different okay perfect then we can play both mm-hmm there are some of the the very old text files apparently that didn't make it into the actual game and it seems like the same objects are

spawned over and over again here I can't see anything that's that's the main problem I think at some point you just have to restart the level because it becomes impossible to see things I'm back here you can press Ctrl L if you are true with Ctrl l i can restart the level now I think we have multiple text files open at once so that definitely looks very broken and that that's that's fantastic I make games and you break them that seems like a great division of labor

I'm good at making games and you're good at breaking games like that we make the perfect team I think this mod just spawns in random objects all over the place oh nice we have now we have some Smileys to collect and it becomes really busy and you can't really see which objects to dodge anymore but that's part of the fun am I right kind of a funny thing to do um for a birthday event right let's imagine some if somebody's birthday and you're just like okay for their birthday let's let's break them completely

have a little bit of a problem here a15 okay is it normal that the boss fight is in this level so like a normal thing in this much I definitely find it cool that all of the enemies are moving in random directions I mean a lot of them are just stuck that's a debug feature left whoever made this mod found the debug feature and turned it on or said just randomly random pure coincidence that that just happened 500 . oh my God as soon as healthy is in the level I think that's

just no no chance to beat it anymore is this enough chaos is this enough randomization for you now are you happy are you happy oh my gosh oh my why ah why would you do that bye bye laughs I like that music channel [Music] okay okay that was that was madness madness and of course the classic screenflip of course and Squid just racing through the screen there as well let's see if we can ride the bus is already done in so many spoilers one more doesn't hurt red

not just I'm crazy that this game already came out one year ago which I know something a lot of you were surprised by as well by just how fast time moves but it's also kind of crazy how fast time moves just within a single day right you you wake up you do a couple of productive things and all of a sudden day is over again in this level the controls are completely messed up like the snail just keeps moving and switches Direction every time I click jump well that's cool that it's not just uh changing the level but also the control scheme I appreciate that makes it quite tricky here we have lowered gravity I think yeah yeah yeah I kind of like the simple color scheme

I like it it's age complete wonderful now we we get to dance now you're just giving me so much of my own medicine here so can can we break Jonah's game and also can we can we break Jonas mentally challenge let's see you haven't haven't mentally broken me yet but you're getting close okay no no I think nah this is easy man this is easy I'm not sure what I'm talking about this is completely doable mentally broken already are you talking

I mean yeah the game gets a little more difficult but who cares who cares is still completely doable right ah that down there it gets so so tricky um this section is rough [Music] oh this is evil this is pure evil why did you do this rgc access why did you do this to me ah gosh the difficulty was very Humane up to this point and even here it triggers me because it feels very doable but I can't do it um

at least I got to feel I got to feel the pain normally will you smell players feel Jonah's tasting his own medicine for sure can you still hear the voice lines are they talking to you I don't know I've recovered from that trauma a little bit and just decided I'm not gonna record any new voice lines for the level editor update or at the very least if I do then not a lot right who needs voice lights anyway also who knows maybe the text to speech will get so good at some point

and we'll have squid voice lines in all languages and we can just produce them with text-to-speech that would be fantastic then I don't need to get traumatized anymore when recording them oh rest why ah damn it we're actually running out of time a little bit but I can I can give it a few more tries but I also gotta go somewhat on time today um come on this is the one yes yes no okay is this the last level let's hope it is

When You're Gonna Play More Level Editor levels oh I mean I just hope that the next time I play level editor levels I can just download them from Steam Workshop you know what I mean that would be wonderful if you had to rename the game what would you name it there was a very early fan game that was called are you planning to slack and I

think that was pretty fantastic name as well we need a new devlog I know I know yeah throne for devlog is coming I don't know but do we have Korean squid voice yet no we don't I think the only [Music] translation The only voice line translations I have so far are Russian and at the moment is unfortunately not the best time to release them I feel like so just sort of sitting on them and waiting for more people to make voice packs while I think of fake me script yeah it's it's hilarious like the it's a surprisingly good are there any planned dates for the next will you snail events [Music] um there's we have some plants but I

don't think I can want to give everything away yet also don't expect anything too special like we're a very small team and also you know I'm not working full-time on will you snail anymore I have other main projects and I'm just spending a little bit of a little bit of time on will you snail here and there to keep things moving and you know that hopefully there'll be a continuous stream of updates and content for a while but yeah I think things are not moving at Super insane speeds just gotta be very honest about that uh will there be cheese in the editor what kind of cheese are we talking about at some point somebody made mimish voice lens oh yeah I think there are a couple of uh troll voice lines like that actually that that would have been very fun for the for the modding stream here I would would have loved to see some of those mimish voice lens maybe we'll have to check that out in a future live stream

or Jonah's bonus video cheddar cheese will will there be cheddar cheese on the level editor I can very confidently say no no are you snail no no no also very confidently no are you gonna add Shakespearean voice Lines no I see we're all out of good questions so that's a wonderful we can just end the stream with that I hope you had fun uh yeah we haven't done a live stream in in quite a while so I I enjoyed it I thought these mods were all pretty fun I honestly my favorite one I have to say my favorite one was probably still the will you golf one

um I know all of the other mods were fantastic as well and a lot of effort and work went into them like for example better will use Nails is what I'm really impressed by as well because it just seems really really useful but just in terms of gameplay will you golf was probably the most unique and most fun to play also the the last one we played here what was that again uh this is this is only one level that was also quite fun I like it all very fun mods are very very good stuff if you want to try out these mods as well then once again I recommend joining the will you snail Discord in the comments below and asking the people who much how to how to get things running it's it's not that difficult but there are a couple of steps you gotta know to install these mods it's doable though if I can do it then anybody can you know what I mean I'm supposed to be working right now but I'm here yeah well couldn't miss Jonas

what is that question do you want to slow down more devlogs and show like I don't know ah do you I get what you mean do you're asking if I can slow the devlogs down a little bit and show more stuff and that's a great question as well once again there's this weird inner conflict where on the one hand you know that the faster the editing is the better the video is gonna do but I know that on the other side there are a lot of people who enjoy these slow moments um and like showing showing some stuff from my life and that sort of stuff as well so once again I think the the answer just got to be ideally I would like to find a healthy balance where I can do a little bit of both unfortunately or I don't know it's just the way I'm recording the current throne for a devlog series is um you know I'm just very regularly

working on throneful and every time I work on throneful I just have screen recording running and record a little bit of uh making off footage um so usually when when you edit that the the natural way to edit that is usually fairly fast because I don't know there are certain things like coding for example that you can talk about in devlox but it's not wise to talk about because when you do people click off if I'm like here's random script I wrote and that's how it works I it can work but it's definitely very risky also one another thing with the throne for deflux is that I'm kind of far behind with where the devlogs are uh versus where the game is right with the devlogs I think we're we are at like Development Day 50 or something like that and with

actual development we're on day 115 or something like that so one of the reasons why the throne for devlocks are so fast is because I want to catch you up to where we actually are and then once I caught you up to where development is right now then obviously slowing the devlogs down a little more is gonna make more sense at that point Jonas will you make a mobile part for what for throne fall or four will use nail um there will probably not be mobile parts for for any of my games anytime soon I think no um for example you could make a five minute video explaining one script for those who will watch yeah that's that sounds like something I would put on the second Channel if I ever do that because the way YouTube algorithm works is sort of like uh it's it's sort of momentum based so

if you have one video that does really poorly then the next video is more likely to do poorly as well so that's why taking these kind of risks on the main channel is not really in the YouTube meta game yeah I agree it's I I enjoy when devlogs do it in an interesting way I I also see tons of devlogs where I'm like okay this is actually quite boring but some some channels are really good at good at it for example Sebastian league is a perfect example of of a channel that does it really well is the plant alive yeah yeah I would say so yeah I gave it plenty of water um I'm not sure if like the current parts are still alive but the it's it's I would say it's like still 60

green and also there are some new Sprouts coming out of the ground so it'll definitely keep on living no worries no worries it has plenty to drink I I have to admit I forgot it for uh for a little bit there but it's it's I think it's on its way to recover summer fall or winter for the Willy snail level editor hmm I mean all I can say is that something that happened today we managed to share our first released campaign via Steamworks so that's that's a very good sign that's a very very good sign so things are moving forward you monster you're dehydrated it and then gave it water [Music] it always had enough water okay maybe not

I guess if a plant looks like that and you say it always had enough water then kind of an obvious lie but it's don't worry about it it's recovering it's recovering okay will there be more music for the level editor if you wanted to come out even later [Music] what inspired you to make the AI documentary I mean I if in case you haven't noticed I've been pretty fascinated by I for a very long time that's why I spent four years making game about AI so this year when when this kind of started hitting the creative Industries which I consider myself part of it was kind of obvious that I had to talk about this kind of addressing the elephant in the room and moving forward from here I'm not entirely sure what I'm gonna do about this yet like at the moment honestly game development
