Create free accounthello YouTube time for another vlog little room tour and next to it the room where I work I really have a lot of space here it's absolutely amazing I don't deserve this at all but I'm happy I happened say unfortunately I'm feeling a little sick but honestly why you're gonna do just stop making videos no we're not gonna do that we're gonna keep going as long as I can breathe hopefully I haven't showered yet I don't really feel like getting dressed either I just want to record this because I just came up with a new workflow for my videos that I want to try as all that when I know different YouTube channel I think the way they did it is just they just recorded the audio of the video first and then they create the video basically because an afterthought I can just get started recording and don't really have to worry about anything and you know after that I'm gonna have breakfast and take a shower and all that
stuff but for now I'm just gonna record the entire audio for the video and then we're gonna worry about the video after that so far it's going really well let me show you curious how that will turn out but now I have to look up how to pronounce the author of this weird book again because look at that name it seriously okay let's record I think it's to structure your videos
like this because you can it's like making a really quick sketch you can make changes really quickly you just be caught the audio and don't have to record the video you can basically design the entire video right in front of your PC and then we'll see how how the video if occasion of this video later on when I have to add video material to this but just assigning the basic outline and or more or less the entire video adjusting audio like a podcast feels really cool it still takes a lot of time but I feel like you can structure it a lot better because you can just make changes much more quickly and the video will have a very good structure it will make a lot of sense I guess holy that's taking forever come on drink some water I'm still not
done but the video has over ten minutes left not almost has ten minutes now I think it's gonna be a really good video [Music] first let's just eat an egg and a couple of oranges because well I don't have time to make real food let's finish this okay I created the entire track now the entire audio track for the entire video it's only voice mmm I might add some music should I add some music I want this to be a really good video but maybe just voice is better so now I'm just going to listen through the entire thing again and see if I can improve anything okay it's done now but it's already 14
o'clock and finally having my morning shower and after that we'll start recording for this video alright let's record I actually need to be a little careful this time because the first thing I want people to think when they see this video interesting and trustworthy not oh my god this guy's on drugs what did she take for breakfast because let's be honest that's probably the correct response to most of my videos this time around this should not be the first thing you see as I'm gonna try really hard to suppress that crazy side of me but I think I can do it my hair still wets I think I'm gonna start with some graphic design on my PC I have this cool little sketch right here that's what I want to build oh my god this literally took forever it's already 15 o'clock and 20 minutes so I don't have a lot of time to finish this video so I'm gonna listen to find out if I still need anything
else I can let's draw something on these papers I'll just start the audio track [Applause] and I can hear the silence next attempt go [Applause] [Applause] [Music] okay that was kind of funny because I could really just focus on the acting part and I didn't have to worry about the talking part because the talking part is already done yes of course my mouth movement will not be in sync with the recording but that's exactly the point that's exactly what makes it a little funny I'll make another playthrough another walkthrough but with sketching so I will sketch
stuff too thing I'm saying in real-time and maybe I can head that in as well but never I can't finish this video today because I have two or three hours remaining until I need to go and probably not even gonna finish a single video today that sucks but that's how it is okay let's use a lot of paper here at the very least I have a motivation to do push ups now because I use innocent example in the video so let's record them once upon a time I was able to do a lot more of these than making music was another example I used in the video so what a great chance to demonstrate my
piano improvisation skills [Music] [Applause] [Music] and then I'm just gonna click slowly through the entire presentation and then I can still edit it and the editing software to fit to text there's the entire picture okay I finished the recording part of this video now it's time to go into the editing I will definitely not manage to finish the editing of this video today a little fun fact in between what do you think how many gigabytes of video do I have on my
harddrive just from doing two months of YouTube that's correct 500 gigabytes so half a terabyte so can I have to buy some hard drives very soon I guess especially if people if I want to back up my data properly which I want to do but the bad news is I have to remove the card from this camera for a second because I want to get that footage in there as well so this is just all the footage I recorded today including the screen recordings the way I go about this is very simple I open the program wait for it and opening a program still waiting still waiting waiting and then I will just start editing probably not gonna be all that interesting we're probably gonna skip through that remember earlier when
I said I want to make a professional first impression and want to look like I'm not on drugs well I really like once I get into it but I don't feel motivated to do it pretty interesting huh and I'm pretty sure you know those kinds of activities as well sometimes to just even though you know exactly that you would enjoy it once you get into it that's just something that awesome right completely trustworthy and professional all right I almost finished editing this video I've got about 80% or something like that and unfortunately I cannot continue with that now I got more stuff to do kay my life is not just work I'm gonna finish editing this tomorrow really happy with how this turned out so far really curious to see what you think about the video I think it's a really fun one and also a really informative one though I think it combines humor and information in a really cool way looking forward to that it's gonna be cool it's
already dark outside it's around 18 o'clock or something like that I usually work a little longer but that's not possible so thanks for joining me on this beautiful birthday I hope you found us a little bit interesting and as you can see content production for YouTube is just such a big effort unfortunately I cannot make videos like this every day but it's gonna be cool saying thank you very much for watching have an amazing day make the world your playground and see you tomorrow with an amazing video peace out
Content creation for YouTube requires significant time, technical effort, and strategic planning. A primary challenge for creators is balancing the desire for professional, trustworthy presentation with the need for efficient workflows. To optimize production, creators can adopt a methodology that prioritizes audio recording as the foundational step. By scripting and recording the entire audio track first, creators can structure the narrative, refine the pacing, and design the visual elements—such as sketches, screen recordings, or physical demonstrations—as a secondary, intentional process. This approach allows for greater flexibility in editing and ensures that the final product maintains a cohesive structure, even when the visual components are not perfectly synchronized with the speech.
The practical demands of this workflow are substantial. A single video project can involve hours of recording, editing, and asset management, often resulting in massive data storage requirements. For instance, two months of consistent content production can generate over 500 gigabytes of raw footage, necessitating robust data backup solutions and hardware investments. Furthermore, the creative process is frequently hindered by fluctuating motivation levels, even when the creator recognizes the inherent value and enjoyment of the work once the initial barrier to entry is overcome.
Ultimately, the production of high-quality, informative, and engaging content is a labor-intensive endeavor that often spans multiple days. While the integration of humor and educational value remains a goal for many creators, the reality of the industry involves managing time constraints, technical hurdles, and the physical exhaustion associated with long-form content development. Despite these challenges, the iterative process of refining workflows remains essential for maintaining consistency and quality in a competitive digital landscape.
