Welcome, welcome, welcome. How's it going, Shadow Interactive? You're the first to join us. Come on in. While we wait for people to show up today, I want to say a huge, huge thank you to Liam F, Aaron Smith, Jaroslav V, Matt 23105, uh Multifaceted Mass, Joseph James, and Ivan. Welcome, welcome, welcome to Full Time Game Dev. And by the way, uh these
students enrolled in Full Time Game Dev. If you want to enroll in Full Time Game Dev, I'll give you a shoutout in the next stream. But also, hey, this is an investment in your future. If I do say so myself. I do I do believe in this program. I think it's an awesome program. There's over 4,500 students worldwide. It's 50% off for the spring sale. I do sales um mostly every new season. Um this is the spring sale. 15 days left to join. But there's only 100 seats available. These usually sell out. You're going to learn not only how to pitch your game to publishers, how to, you know, do a Kickstarter campaign, how to hit the Steam front page, how to get press coverage, um but also how to make a game, right? How to make a game in Unity, Godot, or Unreal. You can take your pick. How to code, how to do beautiful 2D art. You also get my 2D art programs and my 3D art programs completely free, but only for this sale event. And you're probably thinking, why should I trust this random YouTuber? Well, I'm a YouTuber who also releases games, Right? right? Actually make games and I do it
every time I sign with a publisher, every time I I do a a crowdfunding campaign, I go full-time and I create the games. So, I know how to go full-time with just a demo. Uh whether it's pitching to publishers or um pitching to Kickstarter campaigns or just getting wish lists and um building up hype for a Steam launch and hitting the Steam front page. I've done it all. Um So, check out the link below to see if it's something you're interested in. I'll give you a shout out in tomorrow's live stream. Um but yeah, at least click the link below. See if it's something you're interested in and learn how to make a game studio from your bedroom. And by the way, if you're curious, there are students who went full-time, which is so cool. Uh Andre, Chris, Bart, Everflux Games, Felipe, Chris, Soltar Well, Chris already mentioned Chris up here. Uh Soltar, Antonio went full-time with the help help of the course, which is just so freaking cool. All right. You guys ready to play some games? I sure am.
I sure am. Okay, come on in, guys. The first game that we're going to play is Let's see here. Which game do we want to play? Oh. We're going to play a game called Skeletons here. Okay, we're going to play a game called Skeletons. I'm ready to roll. Let's hit play. Take a look. What's the goal of today's live stream, guys? The goal is not to be hypercritical. The goal is not to make fun of games. The goal is to offer up feedback to developers so that they could better understand how to make their game more profitable, but also the next game. This game I think was already released, so let's offer feedback to the developer. I'm not a genius. I'm not a viral game developer, but I do know how to make games that make money.
And I know how to make games that can be sold to publishers and all that. So, let's go ahead and use as, you know, I keep getting weird text messages. And also, this just broke on me. So, that's that's one big issue. I can't stand when games do this. It drives me crazy. I'm going to trust that the stream No, it's not looking good. Let me Let me start over. That drives me crazy. So, that's that's the first big one. If you watch a game, and I'm not blaming the developer in the sense that they should be a genius and know that this Well, you should know. You should know that this kind of stuff is going to happen. If you're getting weird issues where you're you streamers can't stream your game, it's a big red flag because that's how we get revenue as game developers is we get YouTubers and streamers to play our games. So, let's try again. Okay, now Steam is
Okay. I'm going to at least go to the options menu and see if I can change it to windowed mode. But man, it's it's it's getting screwy here. Let's see. I like this menu. This feels really good. I love that. But I just can't see my And you guys, I know you can't see it. It's too small for you. So, I'm not sure what's going on. We're going to come back to this one. Okay? We're going to come back to this one. It's It's It's rough. If the developer's in the the and wants to help me out here. But, I'm getting really weird streaming issues. I can't even close Steam now. Hold on. Yeah, you should definitely account for this as the developer. You really
should. It's probably Unity's fault if this game was made in Unity, but you've got to you've got to think that through. Okay, we're going to play a game called Bike Packing Simulator. Yeah, there was there was a settings menu, but I didn't see windowed versus full screen. No. I guess. All right, here we go. This game's called Bike Packing Simulator. Sorry, I'm listening to the music. Okay, that music the the menu is great. This feels really good. And I'm trying to help the developer here. The music sounds like Cocomelon. Yeah, that sounds like Cocomelon.
Let's find something better here. And by the way, music is not just some weird afterthought. It is everything. Music is everything. So, let's go to Epidemic Sound and find a song uh that could work for this game. Now, obviously you're going to have to buy the license. And you need to take into account streamers playing your game and them getting copy struck because they don't have a license to the song even though you might. Because you paid for it, but you didn't pay for all the thousands of YouTubers who are going to play this Bike Packing Simulator. So, just keep that in mind. But, I think some some interesting like um alt rock would be good. Maybe some like indie rock.
No, it needs to be chiller. Hold on. Let me I'll share my screen. We need something chill. That would be good. Something that makes me feel like I'm just just soaring. And I'd put I would change this and make it not look so moody. I would add like a cool mountain landscape or something. Cuz like the whole game is What's the wish fulfillment here? The wish fulfillment is freedom. Freedom, right? So, you want your menu to give that freedom. Okay. So, anyway, let's let's turn that off. That's the idea. Um but yeah, let's let's go back and bring the music in.
And it's in a minor key, too. So, it's like Oh. What am I supposed to feel? Now now it's not. It goes minor and then it's major. Um let's hit play here and go to new game. I like the menu though. I like the menu feels good. So, I can add glasses. I can change clothes. I like that. And it appears that there's not a ton of a Okay, I feel like I'm in a T-pose. The walk animation is a little bit weird. I don't think I need to hear those cars, honestly. But this is the first thing the player is going to do, by the way.
Okay. So, I'm trying to sprint and I can't sprint. I was sprinting and now I can't. Oh, I got to wait for my energy to go up. Yeah, I would get rid of the sound of the the cars. It sounds like they're starting and stopping. Um okay. Find a Pentel Pentatlon bike store and buy a set of panniers to install on your rear rack. Okay, now I can sprint. I just couldn't sprint in the highway. But now I can't. It's so weird. So, I can sprint here.
No, I can't sprint here. So, randomly Oh, it's the energy. I keep forgetting about the sprint energy. So, I have to wait for it to refill to be able to sprint at all. So, once you hit Okay, so a little UI thing once you hit the bottom of the sprint, it should flicker or flash. It should go boom. And I should see it flashing red as it's going up. And it should go up faster than it goes down, in my opinion. Okay, let's go into the store. Find a Pentel to Pentatonix bike store a Pentathlon bike store and buy a set of panniers to install on your rear rack. Buy a camping tent or sleeping bag at bike store. Find a gas station to buy supplies. Okay.
Yeah, I wish his head looked around. Let's go to the bike store. I mean, this is kind of fun though. I do like this. It feels very empty and flat. But yeah, those cars are the sound is very disorienting. It's yeah, I would I would fix the car sounds for sure. All I need to hear is Okay, we got an ATM. Woah. Oh, no, not the car sound again. No.
So, yeah, I don't I don't know where to go. There's no map. So, I would be careful if I was the developer to give me a indicator of where I should go. I guess down here. Although, I really want to see this. Can I ramp up the hill? There we go. Yeah, I would reduce the uh I would make that tiling a little bigger because it's super small. Um but the detail mask is good. By the way, those of you just joining us, check out the link below if you want a uh fully comprehensive course that can teach you everything I've learned in the last decade of making indie games, including how to secure funding from publishers, how to do a Kickstarter campaign, all
that stuff. How to make a game in Unity, Unreal, or Godot, all that stuff. Okay, so let's see here. Yeah, it's 50 It's 50% off for the spring sale. Let Let me see if I can get off the bike. Whoa. So, the radio is really kind of glitchy. Like if I press M really quickly, it like gets stuck and confused. It almost looks like it's instantiating that text on screen, which it should not be doing. It should just switch it to on and off. You shouldn't be instantiating text on top of ourselves. Everything should be spammable, okay? And it should work when you spam it. Um okay, I don't know how to get off my bike. I can't remember. Okay, there we go. Oh, now the sky changed. Okay, we got a gas station.
And by the way, Thomas is is not following instructions because that's what players do. So, when we first start the game, you want to see if the game is any fun when the player is breaking instructions or not following instructions. Hey, we got a weather change. This is nice. Kind of cozy. Ooh. Okay. Quick slots. Okay. Well, we got to go find a store. Ooh, those cars, man, that sound is really driving me crazy. Let's go find a store. What is this? Ooh. We have 500 euros, so find a pentathlon bike store and buy a set of panniers. I don't know what a pannier is. Do you
guys know what a pannier is? Is a camel back. Yeah, imagine if the if the sound was gone of those cars and all I heard was and I could hear the sound of like a radio playing in this building. It's a very haunt having that car sound play all the time is very very haunting. And I don't think it needs to be. Okay, what did I find it? Okay, I found a pannier. I got one. Um buy a camping so loud. I'm like shouting cuz that's so loud. Nope. Okay, well, that didn't change the It's
just the cars are so loud. Gas stove. Cooking pot. Pillow. Camping tent. So, I I to buy a camping tent. That's a mattress. Placing objects on the ground, you can place objects on the ground. I love this concept, by the way. I think this is a great concept. It wish fulfillment. And it's definitely a dream for a lot of players, so I do think there's a market for this game. Um yeah. You can place objects on the ground, camping tent, sleeping bag, folding chair, gas stove, drone. Moving them from inventory to quick slots. After that, it's kind of a wall of text here. I'm not going to remember all this. I'm not. Uh I should be taught this while I play, not right now. In my opinion. That's how I would do it. Uh you can place objects on the ground, moving them away from inventory to quick slots. After that, press the quick slot number,
blah blah blah. During building mode, you can rotate, confirm the location. Okay. Okay. Got it. I'm pressing space, nothing's happening. Oh, it's it's click and hold. So, we should probably indicate that quicker. Uh have the press fill amount go up really quickly, and then something like that. So, that it's boop, and then moves up. So, that I know that it's a a click and fill, or a press and press and hold. Okay. Uh Grab some apples from the ground. Buy a drone. Place the tent or sleeping bag on the ground. Look at all these bikes I can buy. Oh. Okay, so I guess I could get the sleeping bag. Let's get it. I need a I need I need a confirmation menu there. And then also a ching sound.
Here we go. Find a gas station. Let's go buy some supplies.
Okay. Yeah, what do you guys think? Anybody have any thoughts here? What am I supposed to do here? Find a gas station to buy supplies. What supplies? Buy a Okay, well, you just told me the answer. Thank you. Buy a Wait, what? I couldn't read that in time. Buy a what? Health is low. Buy a craft or first aid kit.
Yeah, I don't love the walk animation. The art is pretty asset-y, if I'm being honest. And it feels very dry. The world is very empty. I haven't seen a single person. It's kind of like the Langoliers. Um Oh, no, it's turning night time. This is great, actually. So, how do I buy supplies? Buy a craft or a first aid kit. Oh, a bathroom. Hello. Yeah, I don't know if I would have sprint stamina. It It almost feels useless. But I guess cuz you don't want the player running fast. Okay. And where'd my body go? My head fell off. Yeah, I I feel like it it definitely
needs some polish. Um that the car sound is really really what's killing it for me. And so, if the developer's in the chat, if the developer's watching, it was hard for me, honestly. I'm from being completely honest with you, it was hard for me to focus on that game at all because that sound of the car was really, really tough. That was tough for me. Um I would I would even go so far as to say, get rid of stamina in the food. I or I Yeah, I just feel like I would simplify that game. But, yeah, I don't know. I think the car sound is what just really was was hard for me. Let's play this game called Alula. By the way, before we play Alula, huge thank you to Liam, Aaron, Jero, Matt, Multifaceted, Joseph, James, and Ivan for joining Full Time Game Dev. And by
the way, if you guys want to join Full Time Game Dev for 50% off for the spring sale, click the link below and at least check it out while you're watching the stream. You're going to learn everything I've learned in the last decade of making indie games, whether that's securing funding from publishers or crowdfunding or how to hit the Steam front page or how to make a game, whether it's Unity, Godot, or Unreal, how to reach out to the press, uh how to do email marketing. The list goes on and on of the things you need to understand about uh running a game studio. So, the link below will show you how to do that. I have 4,500 students worldwide. You're also going to get my 2D and my 3D art program completely free. And I'll also give you a shout-out in the uh live stream tomorrow. Okay, let's play this game called Aladdin. I mean, Alulu, Alula. This actually really caught my fancy. I'm really excited about this. It looks kind of juicy. Well, I think the stamina was added because we don't want the player to run faster than the bike, but I don't think that's a good solution.
I think stamina should be added to I don't know actually. I'd remove stamina from Twisted Tower. Um yeah. Okay, Alula. Press anywhere to start. Ooh, good sound. Okay, got a hitch there. Let me ask you guys, can I ask you a poll in in the audience? This is a a serious poll that I need for my own game. Is hitching normal when you're playing a game? When you're personally playing it, don't answer with a big sentence. Just say yes or no. Is frame hitching normal when you play a game on Steam? Yes or no? I'm not saying should it be normal, I'm saying is it normal for you? Yes or no? And frame hitching is this. We're going
at 60 and then jolt. 60. Okay. Good. It should not be normal. Good to know. Let's go to new game here. Master, classes at the university have not been going as expected. Teaching about the stars when knowing you might be among them. It is harder than I want to admit. I know that's what you wanted, for me to take your place and carry your legacy. I swore I would, but right now I might go back on my words. Your hard stare over my shoulder, your harsh and well-advised words, they made me who I am. Thinking I could fail your teachings makes me scared to lose what is left of you. My brother told me I should move on. That this pain will end.
Yeah, I'm getting Okay, I'll tell you in
a second. Your last words still echo in my head. Every star is worth being known. But to know every star This will take a lifetime. More hitching.
will always be here, no matter what. What was that? More hitching. Got to be careful with hitching. And I'm I'm guilty of this. I'm I'm currently working through a lot of hitching issues with my own game. Okay, let's help the developer out here. How did we feel about that first dialogue sequence? Rate it out of 10. 10 being interesting, it hooked me, it made me want to play more, it made me want to learn more, it invested me. That's 10. One is that was useless. Rate out of 10. 10, awesome. Great job. That was what I needed
for a for a story game. One that was completely unnecessary. What was I even watching? Yeah, they were cutting in and out. That's That is true. Camera feels really jagged, but let's keep playing here. It has to be somewhere around here. Yeah, I would give it a a four. Personally.
that? What is this thing? Yeah, I kind of feel like that intro is cuz I didn't really understand what I was listening to. It didn't quite make sense to me.
I love this setting, you guys. Cuz it's so cool. I love the setting. I'll be honest. When it comes to the music, I don't love the music. Um I would probably lean into more Arabic. I don't even know where we are. Arabic atmospheric. Let's see if we can find something like that. Arabic ambient. This is what I would do. Something like
this. So, I can't select back in for some reason. We're going to have to start over. If I click, it's not letting me go back into it. The voice actress is great. I feel like the um the music is feel it something's very static about it. It needs some melody. Uh it needs room to breathe cuz all I'm hearing is It sounds like I'm like uh high on DMT. Which maybe that's what they're going for, but it's a little disorienting. Um let's keep going though. Oh, no. There we go. Classes at the university have not been Didn't save. Sorry, guys. teaching about the stars when no one is Try and capture what's going on here. It is harder than I want to admit.
I know that's what you wanted, for me to take your place and carry your legacy. I swear I would, but right now, I might go back on my words. Your hot stare over my shoulder, your harsh and well-advised words, they made me who I am. Thinking I could fail your teachings makes me scared to lose what is left of you. My brother told me I should move on, that this pain will end. Weeks have passed, and yet your last words still echo in my head. Every star is worth being known. So, she wants to But you know how it
master happy. This will take a lifetime. At least the night sky will always be here, no matter what. What was that? Okay. All right, sorry about that, guys. I'm going to turn the music back on, and then we'll get going. It has to be somewhere around here. I like the art, though. The art looks really good.
What is this thing? I'm sure the developer's frustrated with me right now, cuz I'm taking so long to get to the point. Hello? Well, this is going to be fun. I bet you this is a hard concept to execute on. What? How? Whoa. What is this place? Am I dreaming? Uh doesn't feel like it.
Great environment, really cool. Artwork is awesome. Player movement feels pretty good. It's a little stiff. Like
That feels a little stiff to me. Maybe this is my way
Um what I would do if I was the developer is I would add a smoothing to the camera, not to the character controller, but a smoothing to the camera so that when we push forward and back, the camera smooths just a little bit and lerps to the controller position cuz right now it's just really stiff. Feels really stiff. It doesn't feel human. So I pressed F and nothing happened, so it felt a little disorienting.
Cool. Help me. What's that? I can control it. This is unlike anything I've ever seen. Alchemy, maybe. Change selection A E.
That's so cool. Trying to figure kind of out. So that's gray and it means I can't do it, but this one I can. Change selection A or E.
I'm not sure what that means. A A A A A on the game pad. I got you. Got it. Got it. Got it. Um Okay, so Okay, I got I think I got it. Now I need to need to think about what to do here. So why did it rotate? Oh, it's rotating me. I got you. So interesting. So whatever you're on, it moves.
I don't think I'm smart enough for this, guys. I'm not. I'm not smart enough for this. So let's try and think of what where we're trying to get. I want to get right there, right? Oh, man. Okay. So, now I need to get the door there.
It's just kind of hard to know what you can rotate. Um there we go. What should I do? Should I listen to it? What? Yeah, the the music is better here, I agree. This is really cool. It's a very cool concept. Um I like how it's singularly focused, too. Um it's not trying to be more than it is. I think I think it's solid. Kind of wish that I could change my field of view. Good, I can. I should be able to see it occur, though. I should see it zooming out right now. Um How am I even going to fight it? There we go. This feels better to me.
Dang it. I can't get back in the game anymore. There we go. Okay. Yeah. So, that the developer needs to address that. If I go to the pause menu and then click resume or if I get out of the game and go to like my my streaming over here on my other monitor and come back sometimes the mouse is is not locked anymore, so just something to think about. I can't click. I can't click anymore. In the world. Yeah, I can't click anymore. Dang it. Can't click anymore. Hmm. Let's think about this. How do we engage it?
I can click here, but I can't click here. Yeah, sorry guys. It won't work. I'm going to close it and hopefully it'll bring us back to where we were. Yeah, for some reason it didn't work. Yeah, I just that that main bug there is kind of a big deal. Um not sure what happened there. But also, if it's not saving, that's kind of frustrating, too. Let's see. I think it should it should be saved here. Okay, good. Oh no, I have to do it all over again. This thing brought me here. Maybe this is my way out. I would play a sound there.
God. Help me. What was that? I can control it. This is unlike anything I've ever seen. Alchemy, maybe. Crap, I'm not going to be able to remember how to do this. Oh, Thomas. Too dumb for this stuff. That is so cool. I want to I wonder how like if this is complicated for me, it makes you wonder like how how complex it's going to get.
Oh my word. Where did the door go? Yeah, so it didn't save and so that's uh it's just kind of frustrating. I would if I was the developer, I'd focus on two things. Um getting that letting me click out and go to the pause menu and stuff without the game breaking. Um cuz that's what happened. And then this save issue has been a problem twice and I'm and it's just because it's a it's a a vicious cycle, you know. So, it's really cool. I I think that game is awesome. Um I'm just not going to go through that puzzle again with it breaking. And we got to we got to try this other game as well. Uh let's jump into Skeletons. I'm going to see if I can get this game working again. Again for just I I do an ad read before each game we play just because it's the spring sale. I want you guys to know about it. Spring sale is
live today. If you want to join my massive game dev course, it's 50% off right now. Click link link below. I'll give you a shout out in tomorrow's live stream. Okay, so it's breaking again. And I don't really knew how to get this to work. Give me a sec, guys. Going to go to settings, see if we can go to windowed mode. No. Oh, guys, I'm sorry. I can't get it to work here. Yeah, this is a These are This is definitely frustrating. Let me change it to 1920 by 1080 and see if that works.
Or 3140 by 2160, maybe that'll show up for you guys. Okay, now I can't see the stream at all. I can't see where you guys are because my streaming window just disappeared. Okay, let me see. Okay, good. Is that good, guys? Can you see it? Yay, okay. Okay, good. Yes, we're live. We're live. All right, let's hit play here. Well, first off, let's go to our um I actually really like this menu. It's really clean. The music I don't love, but maybe that's a matter of taste. I wish it was more ambient, atmospheric. Uh font, it's fine, but I do like the clicky the the sounds of the menu. Really good sounds.
Delve deep. Ascend high, high. Starve the curse, accept suicide, suicide. Burn the queen, her heresies, too, too, too. Free the light. Begin anew, Anew. Ooh. What a cool art style. I hope the limited I hope the limited camera goes away. Cuz it's it's it's really disorienting. There's also a clicking sound or a
hitting sound that's kind of annoying. What? What? Okay. Press and hold left I It's really hard to see that. I would make that bigger. You could barely see that. Press and hold left control especially if you had a really small monitor, it'd be almost impossible. Press and hold left control to raise your shield. It says press Q to put it away. Okay. Trying to see where it's being shot from. Yeah, I don't see the the nest the necessity of having the shield the the helmet that blocking my view. Um
Yeah. Press one to equip your hammer.
Yeah. Kind of that screen shake is a little might get some people who are disoriented by it. Um press last left mouse button and hammer to break barrels. Okay, I just did. Okay. Okay, E. Yeah, I would I would definitely get rid of the the helmet. Okay, I got little hammers I can pick up. Okay, I'm kind of got a wall of text here that I would get rid of.
Behind this door is a skeleton wielding a mace. When the mace is raised high, side step and attack by passing the opposite side. Low attacks cannot be side stepped. Mhm. Too much. I would teach this in gameplay, not in a wall of text. When the mace is raised high, side step and attack by passing. Yeah, my brain can't I'm too ADD. I can't I can't figure this out. I need to I need to see it in play mode. I need to actually be playing it and have it occur in real time and I need to be taught it slowly like I'm an idiot because I am one. Uh but you need to treat a lot of your players like they're idiots at least at the beginning of your game. Okay. Behind the door is a skeleton wielding a mace. When the mace is raised high, side step and the attack by passing on the opposite side. Low attacks cannot be side stepped. Huh? As a last resort, dodge attacks dodge attacks by holding a direction and pressing left shift.
That's scary. Yeah, I'm not following instructions here. How do I sidestep? Is it just by walking left? Now it's gone. You know, the game itself looks really good. Um there's just uh
that helmet Oh, I want it off. Okay, I'm pressing space here. Okay. Well, we died. Let's see what happens. I hope I get spawned back at that door. Mhm. Woah. Um
I'll try this uh skeleton one more time. And at the end of this, guys, we're going to vote on our favorite game, just FYI with this. Oh. I missed it the first time. I would highlight it in some way with an outline or something. Cuz I missed that. And also, it's not really necessary, is it? I'm sure it is later on down down the line for the game, but not currently. So, these are hammers. Okay, press R to view your inventory. You got a helmet, potion, shield. Okay. So, I have This is kind of cool. Uh let's see here. All that's gone. I got some repair hammers. Okay, so those
uh heal stuff. So, I can heal my shield. There we go. You know, I don't know. I mean, I feel like I'd put the hammers as like a currency somewhere so I could see it more clearly. Cuz there's not really a visual distinction between basically a currency here versus my inventory here other than that it's left and right, I guess, but yeah, I might change that. Or at least make this not the grid look identical to this one, you know? I I maybe do these as icons without boxes. Something like that. Um okay. All right. Okay, behind this door is a skeleton wielding a mace. When the mace is raised high, side step the attack by passing on the opposite side. Okay, low attacks can't be side stepped. As a last resort, dodge attacks by holding a direction and pressing left
shift. So, I can do like a sprint like this. But, okay. So, there is a a stamina. I kind of wish I could see that at the top or something. And then I would play an error sound when trying to sprint. Okay. So, I just got to run to the left the opposite side of what he's wielding. Mhm. I can't really sprint.
Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Uh let's repair. Okay, I can't. All right. Uh you know, not my favorite game. I think the art style is really cool. I think that everything is there. I just think it needs to be significantly tweaked. Um I feel like that first skeleton Number one, there's there's very little feedback for the skeleton hit. So, I don't even know if I was hitting the skeleton. So, there needs to be some kind of knock back. We need to hear a crunching sound. Maybe my reticle flashes. Uh particle effects, pieces pop off. There's a lot that could be done there to make it me know that I'm hitting the skeleton cuz I didn't know if I was hitting the skeleton. But, let's go ahead and vote here.
Let's go ahead and vote on our favorite game. Um I'm going to go to my link here to and I'm going to add it to the description. Or I'm sorry. I'm going to add it to the the chat. So, give me just a sec here. And we'll add the games here. We've got all of these. Give me a sec, guys. I'm going to put it in the chat and we're going to vote for our favorite game. Let's go ahead and uh let's see here. Start a poll. What was your favorite game? And we've got the teleporting game, right? Which is or not the teleporting, the rotation game, which is a Lulu. La. I I'm I'm trying here. I don't know how to spell it. Bike bike packing simulator. And um skeletons. The skeletons game. Okay, I'm going to make a prediction.
I'm not going to look at the chat right now. I'm going to make a prediction after y'all have voted. Um but I'm not going to look at it. I can't see it. I don't know where it is. While you guys vote, just be sure to check out Full Time Game Dev below. See if it's something you're interested in. This is the last ad read for today's live stream. You also going to get my 2D art program and my 3D art program completely free. Um the program is pretty cool. So, it's way more than I think it's much more than 40 hours. I don't know how long it is. But, that's because you're going to learn how to make a game in Godot, Unreal, Unity. You're going to learn how to code. You're going to learn how to do
2D art. You're going to learn how to make a 2D or 3D game. You're going to learn how to hit the Steam front page. You're going to learn how to reach out to publishers. Uh you're going to learn how to hit the Did I say that? Hit the Steam front page? You're going to learn how to get funded with just a demo. Uh how to do a Kickstarter campaign. There's so many things that I'm going to teach you how to do, and that's because I've done all of these things. Um so, I mean, this is one of my games, Never Song. That's PlayStation version. This is the Switch version. Um this is one of my games here, Pinstripe. Switch. And I'm currently on my third commercial release called Twisted Tower. Okay. So, check it out below. And look, if you don't trust me, at least take a look at the reviews for the course on the home page of the website. These are students who actually went full-time with the help of the program. So, be sure to check it out below. Okay, guys. Let's go ahead and take a look at the final results. Um I have not looked at it. My guess is the Alula game by a pretty heavy margin. Um I would say 60%, 70?
But, let's take a look here. Okay, the poll is showing a 68%. For Alula. So, the bike packing simulator has 10% and Skeleton Skeletons has 20 6% All right, guys. Hopefully, you learned a ton, and congratulations to all these developers who uh had their games played today. Good luck on your journey to these three developers. Seriously. Um hopefully, they take the feedback from today and incorporate it into their games. Feedback is difficult. It always turns my stomach upside down. I'm about to go look at some feedback from my beta testing for my own game. It's painful. It hurts. It's not fun, but it's absolutely 100% necessary. I love you guys so much. Take it easy and I'll see you tomorrow.
