Everyone is thrilled to spend time with Thomas today. And I'm I'm really excited to spend time with you guys today. Thank you so much for being willing to show up for these live streams. It means a lot to me, guys. We're going to be playing some more games today and reviewing them. And what's the goal? What's the number one goal? Does anyone know the number one goal of these streams? The goal is to give constructive feedback, a little bit of criticism, a little bit of honesty, but also encouragement to these developers. Because, guys, making games is probably one of the hardest things to do ever. Um I don't know why. I think it's just because it's just horrible. It's just a horrible process. The whole thing is just awful. Um so, let's be encouraging to these developers. Um and uh yeah. Oh, guys, I wanted to say a huge huge thank you to today's live stream sponsor. Thomas, why do you take sponsorships? Because it helps support not only the
podcast, it keeps the podcast going, it keeps this channel going. Um and it also helps me continue to develop Twisted Tower. Thomas, I thought you had a publisher. I do have a publisher. Um and I have definitely overstayed my development welcome. The game is taking much longer to make. So, additional funding from sponsorships is awesome and it helps so much. So, huge thank you to Bezi. They've been sponsoring so many videos and I just really appreciate Bezi. So, hey. Let's go ahead and throw a sponsored segment onto the uh live stream. It's the least I can do for Bezi. Before we continue, I want to say a huge thanks to this video's sponsor, Bezi. Bezi can be considered your development assistant. And with their newly launched feature, agent mode, you can now modify and create code directly in your project all through the Bezi app. It makes repetitive tasks extremely efficient and is great for helping you get past a certain problem if you're stuck or maybe you just need general
advice. It makes it very easy to pinpoint and validate all the suggested changes in the context of the code. And Bezi keeps track of all of these changes you make, so it's easy to revert at any time. What's really unique about Bezi is that it has a full understanding of your entire project and makes tailored suggestions by searching your assets, scripts, scene graph, Unity docs, and the web to give you the most accurate assistance as possible. Beyond that, it's great for pinpointing the scripts, components, and scene interactions causing issues and proposing custom fixes to help you identify performance bottlenecks. The best thing is that Bezi is completely free to try out. So, I definitely recommend you check it out by simply clicking the link in the description.
Hello? There we go. Guys, are you ready to take a look at these three games we're going to play today? The first one we're going to play is this game called No Way Home. You ready? No Way Home. And again, what's the goal, guys? The goal is to offer constructive criticism. Things we love, things we don't. Sniffing. We're We're going to have a lot of sniffing and coughing during this live stream. But also, the goal is at the very end of this live stream to vote for our favorite game. The link is below, but I don't want you guys to click it just yet. I want you to see all the games before you vote, cuz that's not fun and that's not fair. Let me turn up the volume. Check one, two. Let's go, go, go. Hey Jude. SMG. I like that logo, actually.
Oh, this looks really good. Wow. That looks 3D, but it's not. That's so cool. I love this. So, this menu would be really hard to navigate if you were using a keyboard or a con- a controller. So, I would consider well, number one, making it work with a controller, but also maybe lining things up in a linear fashion. It's kind of kind of lacks focus, but it looks really good. I love this. New game. Ahoy, passengers. The salt sort of refrigeration unit has malfunctioned. We apologize for any inconvenience
caused during your space vacation. Collision alert. Another round captain.
Ejection sequence activated. Ejection? I hope we don't miss the limbo contest. Oh, no. Oh. Sorry, guys. Getting a phone call. Hang tight. Okay, Joe. Stay calm. Assess the situation like they taught you in that pilot academy you flunked out of. Your ship exploded, all passengers and crew are likely dead, you're in a crummy safety pod, and you're all alone. Okay, so that voice actress I'm your mechanical safety pod assistant, Maddie. My what? Hey, my controls have stopped
responding. Not to worry, passenger. This mandatory training simulator will just take a moment of your time. Ahoy. Prepare for mandatory in-flight training. Maddie, turn off the holo-vision. I can't see where I'm going in real space. See that movement control on your interface? Use it to fly. I'm the captain of a ship. I know how to fly. Great job. Thanks. Can you now lower the Oh, no. A DASTARDLY ROCK COMING RIGHT for us. So far, it feels really good.
control on the right side of your interface to shoot it with your blaster. Nice shooting, Tex. Keep an eye out for the heat meter on the top left of your screen. You don't want to overheat. Is there anything else the safety pod can dish out? A budget star cruiser's grappling hook. Now you can bring a friend along
for the ride. That's a lot of fun.
here. All right.
If you get lost or need to look at your
equipment, activate the pause button. That concludes your budget star cruiser's safety pod tutorial. I give you a C plus. Improve your attitude. Excuse me. This is great voice acting.
Okay, Maddie. Never do that again. This Maddie unit is not outfitted with a learning module. Would you like to upgrade? Uh forget it. Uh Maddie, where are we? I have no record of this star system. Would you like some smooth jazz while we wait for rescue? What? No. We have to get moving. Are you picking up anything on the radar? A strange energy reading. Too dangerous for us tourists. Okay, that's a start. Let's go. New mission received. Find a way out of here. So, I'm like 99% sure that voice actress is the voice actress for John in my game
NeverSong. It's very similar. Um I believe her name is Abigail. Oh, I can't remember. She was so talented. Um Okay, so some thoughts here. Um Honestly, it's great. I don't know if I have any anything negative to say. I think that works. Um I think that for streamers, giving them an opportunity to talk, that sounds really selfish of me, but streaming this right now, I want to talk and like laugh and and discuss stuff. And it was just like dialogue constantly for three or four minutes. And so, I wonder what could be done about that. Um it's just a it's just food for thought for the developer. Um but overall, feels very very double
fine. I love it. Very Rick and Morty. It's great. Really well done. Something that is slightly off-putting with the style, even though the style is really good, is that the line widths are are really thick for the rocks, but they're really thin for the objects. Like uh the or or for the player. And that's why I never use line width in my 2D games um or lines, because it can look really cheap. I I kind of wish that the the the um the spacecraft had thicker lines. So, that it matched. Um you'll notice in like shows like Rick and Morty, it'll have consistent line width. Okay. All right.
Sweet. I think I have infinite ammo. Nice. So far it feels really good. Music is awesome. What is this thing? It's displacing all matter that passes through it. Nice. That's awesome. I'm somewhere else. That is so cool. Dead. Not yet, anyway. Ahoy. We're receiving an incoming transmission. From my crew? Passengers? Did we find them? Nope. It sounds like a drink menu. The source is right around the corner. Nice. That was so cool. Abigail Turner. Abigail Turner. Let's look this up here. That's her name. Um let's see if she is in the credits. Abigail Turner is the voice actor. Here she is. I'll show it to you guys.
Um So let's see if she's in any of these games. So there's Never Song. I wonder if she's in this game. She's in Oxenfree as well. But here's her voice. Something's wrong. More being I can't punch. Nova, make yourself gone. Now. We are doing this old school. Accept the darkness and fall into the abyss with me. Successful hunt. Go ahead and put a random through both of our kinds. Yeah, I wonder. If the developers are in the chat, let me know. Um let's keep going. That was such a cool portal. I loved it. This is great.
THINGS? THAT'S THAT'S SOMEONE THAT I SHOULDN'T
BE SHOOTING. OH, good music. I I weirdly kind of wish I had a my my my cursor was an aimer. I think that would maybe help me. Cuz like I don't know what that is. Like when I when I do this, okay, it's Oh, it auto locks on. Okay. Yeah, it feels a little strange. But maybe I just need to get used to it. A galaxy full of monsters. That's lovely. Ooh, thanks, bud. That's awesome.
cargo. Hot dog. He throws me the health. And my voice is I'm I'm sorry, am I a little too loud, aren't I? All right, let's keep going here.
Ooh.
an alien settlement? That even looks like a bar. There's intelligence in this galaxy. Maybe they know the way back to Earth. Ooh, hello. Great use of color theory here. Can I grab him? Think too. Oops, sorry. Sorry. Sweet. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Are you my buddy? You know what might make this feel more immersive? I'll show you guys in just a sec. The space is cooling my ship's heat output.
Are you Why are you shooting me? It's so-so.
Your budget star cruiser safety pod wasn't BUILT FOR THIS. OKAY. OOH, SWEET pause menu. This is great. Oh, I love it. Okay. Uh I'm curious if the developer would have some time to do something with the art here. One sec.
Yes, too. I'm going to pause this. I'm going to open up Photoshop here. Yeah, it's very well done. It's very well done, but I want to open up Photoshop and show you kind of a thought that I had that might help it feel a little bit more immersive.
And if some of you are wondering why I suck at playing games, yes, I do suck. But my excuse is um and I was thinking about this just now why I'm always distracted. I'm looking at stuff to comment on when it comes to the artwork. I'm always thinking about the art. Um something to to consider for the developer is um this. We need a little bit of a We're not going to do a true black. We're going to do something like this color here. A parallaxing foreground
just every once in a while. Just every once in a while. And then you could merge it together and do a little subtle blur. So basically as the camera would move, this would move over like this. Just every once in a while to make it feel like we're in we're in the midst of this giant asteroid cluster. But there there's not a lot to say here, you know, this is in terms of critique. Or I could do a barrel roll type thing. Very well done. Wow. Where are we? Speak to the alien inside the bar.
What? So it's up here. Yeah, there was nothing in there. Not sure what that was. Shmilly. Oh, an intelligent alien. Okay. Play it cool. Hello, alien. I lost. Me to find Earth. You understand? It's Jabba the Hutt. You're not from around here. That makes you the alien, genius. And I never heard of no Earth. They speak my language in this galaxy? How very convenient. Our new friend has a universal translator similar to the one I used to drip-feed translations directly into your brain.
Do me a favor and deliver this sacrificial rock bat to her. Tell her it's from Shmilly. I scratch her back, she doesn't cleave mine, if you catch my drift. Who knows? Maybe she knows where the Earth thing is. Okey dokey. New mission. Bring the sacrificial rock bat to the rift horror. Not sure what that means. Oh, Helga. Hello, dimensional horror.
The cosmos speak my name in whispers. They say "Zel easy got these earth sparks galix." But you can call me Helga. What can I do for you, honey?
I present you with this sacrificial rock bat OFFERING FROM SHMILLY. NOW I RUN A PEACEFUL SHIP upgrading business. I wreck end I wreck endless fleets. Might as well recycle the parts. I wish I could upgrade this hunk of junk, but I don't have anything to trade. I'll tell you what. There are some rock bats full of lucritium in the nearby cave. Bring me some and I'll forge you a nice upgrade.
Thanks. For a horror, you're not so horrifying. By the way, do you happen to know how to get back to the planet Earth? I'm completely lost.
Earth? Doesn't ring a bell. Oh, okay. But this galaxy is full of surprises. If you search around long enough, you're bound to find things you didn't even know you were looking for. Let's go. All righty. That's good that that forced me to do that. I had to open that menu. Bon voyage.
My weapon's going to explode in this heat if I keep it up. Party pooper is approaching. What? Hey, give me that. Give me that. Got some lucratum. Nice. Return to Helga to craft a weapon. Nice. This feels great. Really good game feel. It's a solid game. All right, girlfriend. Fools are bigger.
Oh, yeah. Fulcrum pulse rifle. Heck, yes. Whoa, those are really low res. I would fix that. shiny weapon. Sure. Okay, first you'll want to open your ship's console. Yeah, I like how that totally agree with you. Um Your Your Gava. I totally agree. I like how simple and easy everything is to start. Just letting me know how to do stuff, but not challenging me too much. I do appreciate that at the beginning of a game. Open up your weapon module. Really good training here. Here you'll see your arsenal. Pick your weapon of choice and select equip. Nice. Now you're ready to get blasting.
Okay. The first one's free, but the second's going to cost you. Where can I get money? I need all the upgrades I can get if I'm going to find my way home. Try the bars. They don't let me in in on account of how I used to eat the patrons, but you seem harmless enough to find work there. But try the bars elsewhere. No one goes to the one in this sector. It stinks of dead rock bats. Go to the bar to find work. Really good game. I mean, it's teaching me everything. It's teaching me like I'm really really dumb, which I am. So this is That's great. Really good direction. And it's hard to do, you know, the first 10 minutes of a game teaching the player how to play is so
it's so much work. Um But this has done a really good job, seriously. If I see you causing trouble, I'll throw you right into the void. Okay. So let's see here. Some bar I need to go to. Great music all around. Maybe find the up button. Scanning for nearby button. Let's go. I love these things. Woo! That is awesome.
Oh, I love this. Yes. Let me use my weapon. Let's go. This is such a moody atmosphere. I love it.
What's that? Cha-ching. Nice. Oh, man, there's so many details. This is great. Solid title. Wow. I'm impressed. Kind of wish there was a sound for that. Nice use of post-processing that changes the uh Uh-oh. What's in here? What did I ever do to antagonize the entire galaxy?
Oh gosh, I don't think I should have come in here. No, thank you. Let's go up here first. Let's grab some health. Whoa. What in the world? orderly way. So there's a whole map here. This is great. All right, I think that's all we have time for for this game. Let's move on to the next game here. Hang tight, y'all. Um we will save the final voting for until we get all the games done, but that game solid title, seriously. Solid title.
Um give me just a sec here. Solid title. Yeah, go ahead and wish list that game if you think it's awesome. Um Okay, next game, guys. Next game is called Lunatics. You ready? I'm ready. Let's go. I It sure feels like a Metroidvania. It It really did. Um Okay. You ready, guys? We got an Unreal Engine game. Is it going to look different than all the other Unreal Engine games? I'm doubtful. Yeah. That's the thing about Unreal. Something about it. It always looks the same.
Make coffee for the boss. What? I think I need to go find a mug.
Can't work right now. Oh gosh. Where is my coffee? Did you forget? As your punishment, you can start by cleaning the toilets. Okay. So, no animation there, just an idle state. Looks very assetty, lots of assets being used. Very plain, very simple. What? Okay. So, no animation there.
They could have had like brown stains on it and turds in it and then it just deletes them. That would feel good. That's That's enough of an animation. All you need is just to disable something. Okay, there's the coffee. Whoa. What? Okay, right click. So, some uh user interface hints there would be helpful. Show a little right click on a mouse, just right over when you hover it. About time. Now, get out of my face. Go do your work. Now. I need a floppy disk. Okay.
Okay, let's get to work. Uh I worked for 4 hours. Now, I need a toilet break, okay? So, there's no real motive here. Um I'm not interested very much. Um just because there's no mystery, there's no problem that needs to be solved. I'm just doing tasks. Okay, let's go to the bathroom. Where was it? Where was the bathroom? Where was the bathroom? I forget.
Okay, I'm losing interest, losing interest. Okay, let's let's use Stop!
no way you are taking No way you are taking a break after only 4 hours of work. I am locking the bathroom door. Get back to work. Okay, okay. Sorry, dude. Go back to my office and get some work done. Work 4 more hours, go report to the boss and go home. I hope there's some kind of really strange scenario that happens here. No way. We have an important meeting scheduled in the conference room. I expect you there in 1 minute.
Okay. Do not forget your past. Conference room, huh? Oh, we got screaming happening. Is this the conference room? Okay, so that said, I needed a key and now I don't need a key. I decided to make some changes to
improve productivity. Pay close attention and listen to my words. Okay. Every employee gets two short breaks during their shift. Look at the board and pay close attention. Good news. We are combining these breaks, so you get one EXTRA LONG BREAK. YOU CAN TAKE THIS BREAK AFTER you finish our working day. Do you understand? Yes, sir. If you have comments or questions, you can email me. You may go home now. Okay. See you tomorrow morning. That was our meeting. Thanks. Thanks, bud. He had to go to the conference room. I love that. That's terrifying. Okay. Okay, I'm feeling a little interested
after that screaming. Oh, and one more thing. Before you even think about leaving, I need you to move all the boxes from the meeting room down to the basement. Consider it your last task for the day. I will unlock the door for you. Don't you dare to go home before all the boxes are stored in the basement. All right. So, I guess there we got to find the boxes over here. Okay, I'm getting a little interested now, guys. Good use of lighting here.
What? Where were those arrows? Oh. Oh gosh. Ah! Ooh, fun. No, no boxes there, okay.
So, I'm looking for a brown box. Nice jumping. Uh Got bombs down here, missiles. Uh There's boxes in the meeting room. No, I'm blocked here. Hmm.
Am I missing something here, guys? Yeah, it's it's definitely turning into a horror game, which I like. But, I'm not sure. Maybe I need to do something with the balls. Oh, there we go. No. No. I I really hope I don't have to do this. So, the uh depth of field blur should be adjusted when I grab something like this. And I should that box should not be as close to my face. So, I would move it away just a little bit with an offset.
Not a huge deal. Oh my word. Let's hope something happens up here. So, I don't have to do this. I would agree that these office games where you do tasks and they they turn into horror games, they're just They they are There's a This is great, though. Lots of boxes. Okay, good. Okay, we're getting somewhere. Yeah, lots of these kind of games out there. Um But, you know, we'll keep playing. Ooh, that's scary. Nice. Oh, no, I lost it.
Can't see it at all. Where'd the box go? Okay, it was somewhere right there. Let's go get another one. I do appreciate all of the changes that are occurring, so the knocking sound. These are all really cheap but effective ways to keep the player interested. So, that's good.
All right, let's see if something's up here. Go back upstairs, see if something's changed. Okay. Um
It's getting a little boring. I'm a little bored here. Need to I'm going to do one more box. What do you guys think? Is it boring? Are you bored? We'll do one more box here. Okay, I guess I there's like two more to do. I'll do two more.
I don't got time for this. Especially during a stream, which horror games are You really want streamers to play your game. I mean, that's how horror games do so well. And people are I'm just watching the stream. People are probably leaving the stream. Getting a little bored. I'd say every time I get a box, there needs to be some kind of new thing that happens. Task list updated. I'm pressing tab. Go home. Okay. Can't see anything.
That's really not great. We need to have some sort of light source. You did not move ALL OF THE BOXES. YOU ARE FIRED. GET OUT. You'll never find another job. Hi. You look like a man without a job. Wow. All right. So, the voice acting is very different. Turned into AI voice. Because we have been spying on you for months. I am afraid I cannot tell you. We work in secret. The only way to get an answer to your questions is by joining us. Meet me tomorrow and join us. You will become a wealthy and important man. Take this unique chance.
Oh, okay. Going to get a new job here. Nice. New environment. Now I'm kind of interested. Allow me to introduce myself. I represent a powerful and wealthy organization. Lunatics. Our eyes have been upon you, recognizing your unique skills as indispensable to our cause. For your service, we extend an offer of untold riches. All you need to do is sign this contract. Uh okay. Great. You made the right choice.
Welcome to Lunatics. All right. Every new employee needs to do a series of tests. When you are ready, please continue to the next room so we can start. Make sure the door is open the way that I'm walking. Welcome, employee number 38. Please stand in the red square and wait for more instructions. You could add some reverb there to make it sound like it's coming from speakers. Those speakers. Attention. You will be presented with a series of images and objects on the screen. Your task is to observe and remember as many details as possible, including the type of object, its color, and any distinctive features. The test will begin in 10 seconds. Pay close attention to each image. You will have 10 seconds to observe each one before it disappears.
Wait, what'd she say? Oh jeez, dude. What'd she say? I'm trying to remember what she she told me to do. Memorize? Okay, it was
um Thank you for your participation. Your performance has been evaluated.
Okay, it was strawberries.
The first phase of the test is now complete. Please proceed to the next room.
It was strawberries. Uh rockets, balloons, and then dolls. Your first test was as simple as they come, wasn't it? All you had to do was stand in the red square and pay attention to the screen. It seems, however, that even this simple task was beyond your capabilities.
Yeah, basically. We're almost disappointed, but don't worry. We have a fun little game plan to help you get back on track. Think of this as a fun learning experience. We're here to help you succeed, even if it means teaching you like a child. You have no choice but to obey and prove that you can follow simple instructions.
Get ready, the task is about to begin. Oh. Mhm.
All right, I'm almost done playing. We're about to move on to the next game here. Yeah, it's a very slow game. Yeah, the pacing feels definitely feels slow and You're surrounded, aren't you? One small square of safety amidst a sea of potential pain. Isn't it fascinating how quickly your circumstances can change? One moment, you're standing in a red square, and the next, you're here, at our mercy. You signed away your freedom when you joined Lenna Dex, and now, you'll reap the benefits, both good and bad. We promise you wealth and success, but first, you must prove your loyalty and
obedience. What? Yeah, I would speed it up a little bit, Moon Midnight. So, like I wasn't able to do anything for the last two tasks. Nothing I did nothing. It's like unless I was missing something I was just punished for no reason, and I guess that's the point, but it doesn't make for a fun experience. Um
All right, well, let's let's play the next game. Um don't vote just yet, guys. We've got one more game here. Where What was it going to be? Let's see here. I think I had it. I thought I had it installed. It's called Supplies. I thought I installed it, but we're going to have to install it here. Let's go ahead and download Supplies, and we'll take a look at the Steam page for those other two games while this installs, okay, guys? For some reason, Supplies won't install. There we go. Um that game, let's try and help the developer out here, guys. That's really what we should do here. What What was What was it about that game that was tiring for me?
Um I don't mind I don't mind games that are asset flippy. I don't mind voice acting that's not great. I don't mind that there's no animations necessarily. I think it's you're requiring a ton of patience from the player without a lot of jump scares or or horror or tension. It also felt like I was completely under out of control. Like I had no agency. Things were just happening to me. Um I would definitely speed up the box puzzle. Or, if you're Look, if you're if you don't want to speed anything up, you just need to give me way more triggered moments. So, every time I get a box, something new it needs to happen. Lights flicker, screaming happens, something. Um or the boss talks to me. Um I would put the boxes a little closer, maybe put
them near the boss. Um then going I don't understand necessarily the setup, either. So, one of the one of the things about setups is if you set me up in the first 30 seconds with a very strange mystery, like you get a phone call from your wife, and she says um you know that the baby's due in a week, and we have yet to find a place to live. I'm I'm on I'm still living in the car. Please, please find another job, or don't lose your job, or something. And then you you lose your job, and there's much more impact when you lose your job. Additionally, maybe your wife can be the one to continue to Like, the boss being the one who's constantly talking to you feels like a it could you could shift that character to someone who needs you. Someone who genuinely needs you, so that you have a motive. There's no motive here. The motive in Squid Game season 1
is that guy has a Doesn't he I'm trying to remember the the motive of season 1. Does anyone remember the motive of season 1? He has that Oh, man, it makes me want to cry. Doesn't he have that daughter? And he just wants to impress her so bad, and and she just he he has no money. And so, the motive of the entire show, to get us from point A to point B to point C to point D, it's his daughter, right? So, yeah. All right, thank you to whoever muted that person. All right, game is playing on my left monitor for some reason, and I can't see it. There we go. Oh, no, not this again. Okay, good. So, I think this is a Doom mod. I can't play it, though.
Okay, there we go. It's also not sharing. Hold on 1 sec. Not again. We're getting issues here again, guys, with with these games. You got it You got to test your game, make sure it's streamable. Um Hang tight. Oh, and the menu feels so good. Golly. No, we got it. We got it. Okay, now my screen is black. Okay, good. There we go.
All right, give me ASWD control for the menu, please. Oh, this feels great. Wow, this feels really good. Oh, this is great. Oh, yeah. This music is GETTING ME GOING.
I'M GOING TO TURN THE VOLUME DOWN FOR YOU GUYS, SO IT'S PEAKING, SORRY. I just don't want to lose control of my monitor. There we go. Great music. Listen to that bass. This is so good. Nice. Oh, the game feels awesome.
Some kind of story intro would have been really helpful. Give me a motive. But I guess it's a demo, right? Maybe they're just giving us an arena. Nice. I love secret areas. So good. Got a blue key, baby.
I love those. So, we got a blue key. Uh I'm not sure if this is true, but I don't think I saw a blue lock. And so with the intro of a game, you always want to make sure the lock comes first before you give a key. So, I should have been able to see a blue door first, but maybe I missed it. Let's see if we can go find it. Wait, have I gone over here yet? I could listen to this music all day. This is great. Really good.
Oh, I got a right click. How did I get lost? Really good music. I freaking love that. Do I need to backtrack? No. Okay. Yeah, there's a map. Okay. Where am I though? I'm right there. Okay. Yeah, there's a map.
Really great great sound. I just love it. So, there's nothing over here. Wait, what? What am I missing? Oh. Okay. Here it is. No? Okay, now I really want to know.
What am I missing, guys? The passage looks like an arch. Okay. Oh. Okay. Golly. Okay. I don't know if I would fix that. That's I think that's on me.
Is it this? Oh. Got to go get a green key, guys. Nice. So, I opened that blue gate. There we go.
For an elevator button. Nope. Nope. Nope. Hello, I am Charon, an artificial intelligence aside blah blah blah. My primary functions are monitoring weather patterns and analyzing samples of exo-fauna. But due to circumstances out of my control, I have been tasked to oversee containment of the hostile alien entities assaulting the colony. I'm not doing a good job. Okay. Lots of AI. I've submitted a revised set of emergency protocols to the colony's
administrative staff in hopes of preventing the problem from reoccurring. Security override. New gun. Yes. Love this. So classic. Really good level design.
Great lighting, too. Nice. Got it. That's funny. It's like a social media post. All right, I think we got it.
Orange key.
Yeah, yeah. Uh-uh. Nope. Love that. Great enemy design. Nice. Oh my word. No saves. I needed to save with a a save manually.
No, but I think we got a good taste of it, honestly. Um okay, guys. Well, let's see here. Go ahead and click the link below to vote on your favorite game. Um my theory is that we had two really, really solid titles today. Real solid titles. Yet, they were so distinct in their genre, so different, that I feel like this is going to be one of the first times No, I'm not going to say it. I'm going to let you guys um I'm going to let you vote below. All righty. So, let's think here. What do we do while you guys vote? There's a link below to vote. What did I like about that game? Uh everything. I think it does everything it should. In fact, I have a theory.
I have a theory that the Steam page is going to look really good. I I feel I I I feel like this is a very professional game, professionally made. Let's take a look at the Steam page. You guys ready? Let's look at the Steam page cuz the Steam page is a pretty is probably going to be a good reflection of the quality of the game. I I've seen that to be true with most Most great games have good Steam pages. Um so, let's take a look here. Supplies, awesome. Great art, very good. And it is published by Hyperstrange. They did Elderborn. They did Raise. Empty Shell. Incision, nice. They do boomer shooters.
Okay, let's go ahead and take a look at the uh the poll, guys. Straw poll, we're going to take a look at the votes. My prediction is that I actually I think Supplies will win um at 70%, 60%. If I had to take a gamble of which game will do the best, it's probably going to be Supplies in terms of like revenue. Um I could be wrong, though. I know you guys want to see Alter Ego more. I know. Okay, so Supplies will be 60%. I haven't seen them yet. Supplies will be 60%. No Way Home will be like 38, and then Lunatics maybe Well, Supplies will be 40.
I'm sorry, 60. We'll do 30, and then 10 for Lunatics. Let's take a look. I was so close. I was close. Guys, No Way Home, I was not close. I lost. No Way Home won. Okay. What I was going to say when I said um my suspicion is, and then I stopped myself, what I was going to say was that this will be um there's potential that it's a coin toss because they're just totally different genres, you know. Um So, way to go, everybody playing or everybody who submitted. Way to go to No Way Home, Supplies, and Lunatics devs. That's awesome. Um games are great. I think Supplies will probably be the highest revenue earner just cuz it's just hitting a genre so well. Um But No Way Home was really good, too. My favorite was Supplies.
Um but No Way Home was good. It was very good. It really comes down to what you want to play, you know? What kind of games do you like? Both do really good in their genres, you know? All right, guys.
