CD PROJEKT Capital Group maintained a robust financial position throughout the first half of 2017, characterized by sustained profitability and strategic investment in future development. During this period, the company generated 254.8 million PLN in net revenues and 118.6 million PLN in net profit. While these figures represent a moderate decline compared to the same period in 2016, the organization remained financially stable, reporting total assets of 902 million PLN and equity of 796.4 million PLN as of June 30, 2017. This performance was primarily driven by the enduring commercial success of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt alongside ongoing development efforts for Cyberpunk 2077 and GWENT.
Operational efficiency remained a priority, evidenced by a reduction in total operating expenses to 112.9 million PLN. To enhance reporting clarity, the company streamlined its structure by merging the "Other activities" segment into the CD PROJEKT RED segment and consolidating GOG entities into a single Polish-based operation. International expansion continued with the establishment of a new subsidiary in Shanghai, while the company simultaneously navigated a complex fiscal environment marked by the introduction of General Anti-Avoidance Rules in Poland.
Shareholder returns and long-term growth strategies remained central to the company's capital management. In June 2017, the group distributed 100.9 million PLN in dividends, equivalent to 1.05 PLN per share, which contributed to a reduction in cash and cash equivalents. Despite this outflow, the Management Board confirmed that the company operates under a going concern assumption with no foreseeable risks to its business model. With the implementation of a 2016–2021 incentive program and the appointment of Ernst & Young for the 2017 audit, the group continues to prioritize transparency and long-term value creation across its global operations.
