CD Projekt
The CD PROJEKT Group achieved strong financial results in 2025, recording 867 million PLN in sales revenue and a consolidated net profit of 595 million PLN. This performance marks the second-best year in the company’s history, characterized by a 9% year-on-year revenue growth and a robust 60.1% net profitability for continuing operations. The core business, CD PROJEKT RED, saw its net earnings from continuing activities rise by 18% to 521 million PLN, bolstered by the sustained popularity of the Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher franchises.
The company’s long-term strategy focuses on lifecycle management and the expansion of its intellectual property. Cumulative sales have reached 85 million copies for The Witcher trilogy, 35 million for Cyberpunk 2077, and 10 million for the Phantom Liberty expansion. Beyond software, the company successfully monetized its brands through tie-in products, generating over 100 million PLN for The Witcher and nearly 70 million PLN for Cyberpunk 2077. A significant strategic shift occurred at the end of 2025 with the divestment of GOG sp. z o.o. for 90.7 million PLN, a move intended to consolidate resources exclusively toward internal game development.
Capital allocation remains aggressive, with 513 million PLN invested in future projects, including the development of The Witcher 4, Cyberpunk 2, and a new proprietary IP codenamed Hadar. Despite these heavy investments, dividend payouts, and stock buy-backs, the company maintains a strong liquidity position with over 1.3 billion PLN in cash, bank deposits, and treasury bonds. This financial stability supports the company’s objective of maintaining operational autonomy while pursuing parallel development across multiple high-budget titles.
