Danske Indholdsproducenter 2024 presents Danish content-production data for 2022, drawn from Statistics Denmark, across the film, television, advertising, games, and interactive sectors.

• Danish content production across film, television, advertising, games, and interactive media reached record exports in 2022, with 1,169 companies employing 5,261 full-time equivalents, generating nearly 10 billion DKK in turnover and 3.9 billion DKK in exports.
• Games are now the engine of the sector, accounting for roughly 37 percent of total turnover and about two-thirds of exports, with revenue of approximately 3.65 billion DKK (up about 19 percent from 2021) and exports of 2.6 billion DKK (up 17 percent).
• Between 2017 and 2022 the number of game companies rose 26 percent and game employment grew 74 percent, while a 114-firm interactive producer subgroup expanded revenue by 86 percent over the same period.
