Koei Tecmo reported FY2024 consolidated sales of 83,150 million yen with an operating profit of 32,119 million yen, maintaining a strong 39% profit ratio despite a slight year-over-year revenue decline.
The Entertainment division remains the primary revenue driver at 78,078 million yen, split almost evenly between mobile/online (37,560 million yen) and console/PC (39,520 million yen).
Digital distribution continues to dominate the company's business model, accounting for 78.1% of total sales for the fiscal year.
The company forecasts growth for FY2025, targeting 92,000 million yen in sales and a software unit volume exceeding 9 million copies, up from 7.63 million in FY2024.
Japan remains the dominant market with 49,220 million yen in sales, while overseas markets accounted for 40.8% of total revenue.
To support future growth, the company has expanded its workforce to 2,684 employees and plans to leverage a pipeline including 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake', 'Dynasty Warriors: Origins', and 'Atelier Yumia'.
