Nacon reported 72.8 million euros in consolidated sales for the first half of fiscal year 2021/22, a 15.9% year-over-year decline attributed to pandemic-related high comparisons and logistical disruptions.
The company reaffirmed its full-year targets of 180 to 200 million euros in sales with a 20% current operating margin, expecting growth to accelerate in the second half.
The accessories division, which accounts for the majority of revenue, fell 15.1% to 43.7 million euros due to global supply chain issues that delayed shipments between Asia and North America.
The games segment generated 27.1 million euros, a 17.5% decrease from the previous year, despite the successful release of titles such as WRC 10 and Rogue Lords.
Nacon projects fiscal year 2022/23 sales to reach between 230 and 260 million euros, driven by a strategy of studio acquisitions and an expanding intellectual property portfolio.
Upcoming second-half performance is expected to be bolstered by the release of Blood Bowl 3, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, and the new Revolution X Pro controller for Xbox.
